tracker music always has such a happy energy that i cant really find in modern music produced on high end equipment, this track in particular just makes me happy every time i listen to it.
it has soul. this was back when computers were only just starting to give folks a glimpse at what we have today - that excitement can be heard in a lot of tracker music
When you're limited by what you can do technologically, you must lean on composition, good structure, and melodies and hooks. Limitations create great music because it forces you to go to the core of what good music is. I know, i'm a musician, scene face and sound tech.

Heard this in a DoshDoshington Factorio vid and absolutely loved it. Cheers to the people for making this in the past.

Heyyyy I’m not the only one that came from a Dosh vid
The Intro (Opening) still gives me goosebumps me after 20 years. 0:16

I really enjoy listening to a few tracker tunes and Higurashi music on occasion.
This is criminally underrated.

Sounds better than 90% of all music that came out in 2020-2023. Trackers made this in a cave with a bunch of scraps

I do like how some of the instruments or notes have an extra note. Some that if you will, lag behind. creating an echo
