This year has been so difficult as I separated from addicted and toxic husband in January. I have gone through depression and grieving process. Now, after therapy and months of being lost, things are finally starting to move forward as I filed for divorce, and I'm working to build my life back up again. I'm hoping for next half of this year I can close this chapter and start over. I have been watching your videos for years and you have been helping me heal, move on, focus on myself and my goals.

You made such a good point about the importance of grounding during summer! I have naturally found my body gravitating towards focusing on the opposite behaviors a season represents to facilitate a better balance for myself. Meaning, that I make a concerted effort to plan social events more in the winter so that Im getting out of the house and keeping that social and emotional energy flowing. During summer, I'm more intentional about creating quiet time and spaces for myself outdoors. I think this is because naturally, the seasons bring what they represent so we need to be intentional about the opposite to have a good balance. I love sharpening different strengths in different seasons
I would love another talk on this. I am more of a fall and spring person. I don't mind summer. Until it gets to hot. I don't mind winter. Until it gets to cold.
Girl, I swear we're the same person. Thank you for expressing how you feel -- even when at times you may feel concerned about others judgment -- because I feel so SEEN by all you say / what you embody bc of how aligned it feels with my own thoughts/experience of being alive.
Also, a fun summer memory from last year. My boyfriend lives in Brooklyn, and there's a cute restaurant downstairs/across the street from his apartment. Last summer, every Sunday from around 5-8 p.m. the restaurant hired a band that played the most GORGEOUS jazz music outside. It was when I was cleaning and prepping for the week, and it made Sundays last summer such a treat. I'll never forget the feeling (like you said about you checking in on your garden in the mornings). Whether they do it again this summer or not, I'll always have that feeling. 😊

I’m usually a winter solstice kinda girl but I’ve been loving feeling the hot sun on my skin and the warm air not sure if it’s different from where I use to live or because I’m older and like the freedom of wearing less clothes but it feels nice even when mentally it’s been difficult to really enjoy it.

Totally unrelated but what Mic do you use? Sounds gorgeous 🤩 But very interesting video that was recommended for me because I literally was just saying to myself in beginning of June how I am enjoying summer more than usual (winter girlie here too) but I’d like to be more in present and enjoying what each season brings. Worry is kind of my default state though 😂 but I have been doing a lot of light work to embrace my self worth and confidence to go after my visions.
