Hi Nora, Just a small correction : ''Grandes Ecoles" in France are not private institutions, for the majority they are public. They are more selective in a sense that you have to pass a competitive exam to be admitted.

Hi Nora! Did you apply to uni before or after graduating from high school? Because in the U.S you can start applying to college during your senior year but I've noticed that in order to apply for uni in France you need your high school diploma.

@@imkevin9232 you're right, they offer several English courses such as summer programs but not Undergraduate, Master or PhD, those are taught in French
Hi, I’m from Ireland and we get our high school results (Leaving Cert) in August so we would have to apply before we get our diplomas, so how does that work? Also are you doing your degree through French and if so how good does your French have to be?
In France everyone applies without being graduated! So what we do is that universities accept you and then you need to show that you pass. Of course, if you are accepted in the university but don’t get graduated you can’t come in
How about high school? Is it useful to go to high school in France and then complete university there or to go to university after finishing my high school in my country. Thank you so much your videos are extremely helpful.
Hi thanks so much for posting this! I really wanted to apply for bachelor in Paris but I'm not familiar with the way things work. Would u suggest any public universities that offer courses in English? I've reached a few and they say they only offer courses in French :(
The public education is only taught in French. The only way to have an English program is to apply at private universities :c but those are much more expensive
@aena Yes! I know how hard could French, German, etc., be to learn 😕 but there's a lot of foreigners studying in those countries. But if you badly want to study in one of those countries, you can apply at language institute (that’s what I’ll do), in France you can work and study at the same time, even if you’re studying French and then apply at any university.
(Nantes or Paris, for international student) 1) If someone is an EU citizen but takes the national Baccalaureate in their (EU) country (which I heard isn't the same as the European Bac, since that's only done in "European Schools" and the student went to a national school. Even the number of exams taken is different.. but maybe I'm mistaken?), is that national bac still valid in France if they also have DALF? If not, is there a way to get it recognized or to take an equivalency exam or to take the European/French Bac without having to repeat the courses? And does the person still use Parcoursup and pay the same fees as other EU citizens? 2) If the application deadline is 6 months before the Bac exam, but the admission requires a certain grade on the Bac, can the student still apply and send the Bac scores later?
But if I am in Senior year and I have to apply in november-december it is imposible to submit the diploma since we didn't finish the school year, how do I do that ?? Btw, amazing videooo ❤❤
I'm so confused, if someone could help me, please. I'm from Brazil so we use "reais" as our coins. Remember that, its important for my question. What's the point on going to a PUBLIC uni if you have to pay 2770 euros per year that in reais are 19.000 per year..........???? I can't afford that.
