- 'sport in a circle' 360ball is a sport that utilizes the principles and properties of a circle to define a ball game. Players use a racquet to strike a ball onto a centrally placed concave disc. We did something similar to this decades ago with a ping pong table with no net and you can spin around it ...ball needed to hit the table then the groud....with a tennis ball and tennis raquets...while waiting for your next match in a tournament

+Abstraction Distraction I get what he means, if you position your body correctly, you could hit the circle and have the ball going behind you. He just didn't word it right, it was my thought initially too.
Chris How could you though? the only way I see it happening is if you hit like the very edge of the circle opposite from where you are. The slightest miss-movement would cause it to go to the left or right more than backwards.
Abstraction Distraction You would have to be facing the ball side on as it's coming towards you. So if you are right handed, you'll have to position yourself to make the ball come towards your left side and then you could swing the raquet backwards.
It looks interesting but "Best Sport Ever" is going way to far.

I'm disappointed that none of them tried to hit it as hard as they possibly could. Is it only allowed to bounce once off the wall?
hitting it as hard as you can isn't really that beneficial in this game. Once the ball hits the outside wall, it will be moving towards the center, i.e. where the opponent wants to hit the ball anyways. This would give them more time to react and make their hit easier. And possibly get the ball back to center at which point i believe you lose serve/point. i.e. if the ball hits the black ring twice in a row off your hit, it the opponents serve/point.
Hit it so hard that it becomes too fast an unpredictable for anyone to react.
At 45 seconds there was a hard hit.. but you wanna make sure you don't hit it over the walls and lose the point.. but yea I'm unsure why they couldn't just smash it and then no one has a chance to really get it unless they are lucky since it would be going so fast..

I like this game, I mean you need a partner, but it has a lot of the properties of racquetball, and I was good at racquetball. I would have killed at this, you can hit the ball hard but it has to placed perfectly. Bet it's a lot of fun.
