Bit of a sugestion, if you dont want to take your actuator off again after puting it all together simply use vernier calliper and measure distance from lowest part of actuator body to the top of first nut, use a bit of a locktite - guaranteed you wont have to re-adjust.
I've got the same error with Passat cc 2 TDI 140 ps Diesel but car still has power and nothing changes! But when i drive more than 30 Minutes and the engine got warm then its difficult to move the Gear! I don't know what the problem?
Did you have the same announciation every time you started the engine (til you fixed it, I mean) or it happened once. I recently had the same,while i was driving at 120km/h immediately ithe engine run in safe mode but after I stopped and relight the engine I have driven morale than 600km with full turbo pressure and nothing have happened yet...Please let me know if you experienced the same or if there was everytime the problem?
Hello, I would like to ask if my glow plugs come on, it only flashes and then my car goes into the crooked mode and then it starts again and disappears, then it starts again. I replaced new glow plugs and it still does this to me wolkswagen passat B6 2.0 tdi

I’ve got the same error code but car still has power but brake pedal is very strong. By pressing the brake pedal i get that error code stays for abit then goes away.
It sounds like you have the problem shown in this video: ruclips.net/video/1ZCx6bVK6gc/видео.html the brake uses the same vacuum pump. Watch both parts of the video.

@@MustangMotors jai tel hier il ne la detail pas il vende le turbo complet... mais d apres mais symptome jai aussi la pedale de frein qui durcit une fois sur deux je vais essayer de changer la pompe a vide car si elle est defaillante cela peut aussi entraine des soucis dans l'electrovanne du turbo et sur bien d autre composant de la voiture ...je vais tester l'arrivve du courant sur l'electrovanne du turbo et ensuite controler la resistance de cette electrovanne pour aquis de conscience

Can I ask please why did you re position the nut at 18:20 to 19:00 after spending sometime adjusting it to match the original one ? or was that a different nut ?
Hi well spotted, yes I had to adjust the nut again after putting everything back together because I had a new fault code with turbo actuator. Same nut from new actuator (loosened few turn) and job done.

Am facut o diagnoza si am descoperit p0299...presiune mica in turbina si am facut turbina ca noua Dupa am facut egr...am verificat senzori ....am verificat tavile si furtunele de aer nu sunt sparte sar fisurate....totul ok Dupa am verificat si am schimbat debimetru si tot imi apare marorul in bord...si nu mai trage. Dar cand opresc motorul si il pornesc functioneaza normal dar cand ajung iara la o viteza de 100-120 iara intra martorul si nu mai trage.... Ce sa fac un sfat va rog?
@@Enache-florin nu am gasit problema.... Mecanicu mia spus sa vb cu un electrician...si sa verifice cablajul ...si daca nu este din cablaj Atunci trebuie modificat din maf si sters eroarea... Acum am aprinse martorul motor si spirala care imi licare pt ca am scos mufa de la debimetru si masina trage normal... Dar daca gasesti problema...ma anunti si pe mine te rog

@@alynalyn2719 salut! Eu am găsit furtunul de la turbina spart, pe acolo pierde presiune ( mâine schimb și turbina și furtunul , revin cu un răspuns dacă S a rezolvat )
@Mustang Motors If i have to replace an actuator on my jetta im throwing that car in the garbage. Same goes if turbo fails. Im not going to screw with this headache. I have herd too many horror stories about having to replace the actuator. Some people ended up having to pull the motor out the chassy just to get to the actuator because they couldnt find the few selective tools you had in video. Not to mention having to adjust the 2 bolts for the actuator because the car triggering limp mode for under boost and over boost. I will for sure check the vac pressure on my actuator. If its leaking, the car is leaving.

Did you make or buy the split socket you were using - you held it up to the camera, I assume there was a reason for that? How much effort is required to remove the actuator? @@MustangMotors Never trust an eBay boost solenoid I had boost issues fitted new boost solenoid was overboosting to 21psi my setup standard tune should make 15psi peaking at 16-17 which it does now after fitting genuine Solenoid 🤦🏻♂️
Hello, Did you mean P2563 fault code, I readjusted this in few attempts. By extending the actuator link slightly in/out until it was perfect without fault code. Please try comparing both new and old actuator. You will be fine unless it’s been tampered!
Hola buenas compañero soy de España tengo un problema que me gustaría compartirlo para buscar alguna solución. (Mi coche es un Volkswagen Golf 7 2.0tdi 184cv gtd automático año 2014) el problema que tiene es que el coche cuando le apretó el el acelerador y pasa los 120km/horas se me enciende la luz de los calentadores y otra luz pequeña de (una abuja y un coche) imagino q será acc y asistente de frontal.. y se queda en modo protección no anda sin fuerza y limita la velocidad y vuelvo lo apago y lo vuelvo arrancar y nada cero fallo vuelve Air bien pero aveces lo noto que le falta un poquito de fuerza pero va estupendo.. tambien metí la máquina diagnosis OBD y me sale P0299. A todos los que sabéis este problema o similar comentarme es urgente y necesario gracias ante mano espero averlo explicado bien
Hola tengo un Ibiza 1.9 tdi, con el mismo codigo y problema como el tuyo, esta semana voy a cambiar el actuador a ver si se soluciona, ya cambie la electrovalvula y no fue eso.
