On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

@@heathb4319 Probably because the Army doesn't operate its own air force apart from helicopters, and last I checked we don't tend to drop cluster munitions from Apaches

Enemy Armour cleverly disguised as a residential neighborhood, fortunately GS saw through their ruse.
When I was a kid in the early 80's we lived near a large airport with an attached Connecticut ANG base. We'd sit on the front porch and watch these A-10s doing maneuvers overhead. It was a relatively new platform at the time. They were just fascinating to watch. Been a fan ever since. When the 1991 Gulf War started, first thing I thought was "I know what's going to be useful right now!"
F111 did more damage in fewer sorties, the A10 is the Nickelback of combat aircraft
The A-10 is just an amazing plane. I wish the air force would come to their senses and not retire a very usefull aircraft.

I love the A-10 videos. You have a great affinity for that aircraft. Then again, you do well with everything with wings. Love the warbirds, as well.
Would any planes fighting themselves be interesting? I imagine a10 vs a10 would be a slugfest. f22 vs f22 would be kinda weird with them both being stealthy. And I assume f16 vs f16 is a coinflip of who makes a mistake first in the 2-circle.
That has been done many times on the channel when there are symetrical aircrafts, but it's still very interesting to watch. It's not only about who makes the mistake first. It's more about how each pilot treats his aircraft...

I LOVE the sound of the A10 cannon and the sound when it flys by. One of my favorite jets.
Kind of a nostalgic moment for me... I grew up just outside of Shaw Air Force Base (Where your F-16's were from), I used to watch the A-10's fly so low over my house that you could see the rivets in the sheet metal and then I turned 18, joined the Army and probably have been to whatever city/country you were bombing 😂

The tactic I like to use against sites like this is to make a mark point on the radar from far away, then get within 7NM hugging the ground and pop up, slave all the sensors to the mark point, lock the mav on the radar, launch, then flare and run away.
This is the way, very nerve racking stuff especially against SA-8s.
Look if anyone asks, just tell them there were enemy combatants in those buildings.

A-10 is my absolute favorite to use in DCS. I cleared 44 ground targets and 1 air target in one run completing an entire objective solo.

As a tank-killing weapon, the GAU-8 has seen better days. While it can't really kill with more modern tanks, the impacts and fragments of the 30mm shells shred tanks' sights, lights, and sensors making them mission-killed.
