Steve Rossé, Sergio Carolino, Tim Buzbee & Jessica Buzbee: The Four Immortals by Andrew Batterham

The Four Immortals by Australian composer Andrew Batterham features three tuba soloists and an alto trombone soloist, accompanied by a small low brass ensemble and one percussionist. This work is a 12 minute work depicting the Greek gods Zeus (Rossé), Apollo (Carolino), Athena (Jessica Buzbee), and Poseidon (Tim Buzbee). This is a live recording of the premier that opened the 2013 Sydney International Brass Festival (SIBF), added by Steve's crafty slide show. The SIBF Low Brass Ensemble consists of Scott Kinmont on euphonium and other permanent and substitute members of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ronald Prussing.
