I remember Wycliffe Gordon playing with our high school jazz band back in grade 11. He's freaking phenomenal.
My dad played with him in high school aswell!
he sucks
@@lilli5232 bruh
The man moves me in such a way that no trombonist ever has.
“Come on trambone!”
What an exceptional musician, plus a really humble and down to earth human being. He reminds me of my former brass principal. People like them are the reason why the young musicians want to keep pushing.
How can be great at trombone and trumpet at the same time? Wow! He is a beast 😮😅
What a legend
this video just fueled my admiration for Wycliffe
Please make more of these!
Love stuff like this. The production quality is also fantastic.
Would love to see one with Ryan Kisor or Wynton.

"Bee baba do bo ababa do bo dee dee da da doo"
I don’t understand how someone can play the trombone and the trumpet!! I feel like it would destroy my ombechure. (I play the trombone)
Music Videos ...check the mouthpiece! I don’t know what it is, but except for where it meets the leadpipe, it is not really trumpet-sized! Although there have always been people who double with a big change in mouthpieces, and always will be. When I try to play trumpet, with a 1C, I’ll last about five minutes, then I get trombone mouth. Can’t squeeze the vibrations into that tiny lil’ thing. I’m dying to get a hold of Wycliff Gordon’s mouthpiece, and shed with him fo’while!
Now he sells the ‘hybrid’ mouthpiece himself, with assorted rims and backbores. Better call them ‘set you’ backbores! He’s not exactly giving them away! Go to wycliffegordon.com and check them out! I’m seriously considering dropping 195 bucks and get me one!
It's not easy at first, but you can get used to the difference.
I play both and just about all the instruments
In my opinion the technique is pretty similar from one another I play both of them and I can tell that its hard at the beggining but you can get used to it then the proccess of learning the second one is easier
This man's Asian bass player is named "Sushi'
That’s such a cool name 😂
Brasil🇧🇷👀❤
hehehe
I think that this video is great an extremely informative about who this man really is the trombone let me open up this door I'm way more interested Enderman accomplishments in music me really rips on the trombone like I said that's what led me give you this video which I think is very well. Done
