I just installed two of these in my two Squiers yesterday. Honestly, if you take your time and take exact measurements, they're not difficult to install. As far as I'm concerned, these do what the manufacturer claims they do, and they're well worth the money and the effort you have to put in.
the difference!so you know what?it works!!!i can't believe it!i am so happy and impressed.everybody should know also that tightening the two thumbnuts in plastic has a major impact on the tremolo overall stability as well.once you install this device once and you get the concept,it isn't that difficult to do the job again on a different guitar.people buy this tremsetter without any doubt you won't regret it
i just finished installing it.i am an italian guitar player, i endorse marvit guitars and we were doing some reserches in order to solve the tremolo problem.i tried different devices on my signature model without any success.tonight i decided to install your product, at the beginning i was so pissed,it wasn't working, but then i figured out that the very last passage is crucial:you need to charge the little spring adding sufficient strenght to the collar before tightening it,it makes
I just bought a Strat which is equipped with one of these. I put heavier gauge strings on and tightened the two tremolo springs Should I be adjusting the TremSetter as well?
Get yourself a Tremol-No. *Actual* 15-minute installation, one solder point (from the old trem claw to the new), and 3 easy-to-access "modes": Free-floating ("standard"), Dive-bomb only, and Locked down/Hardtail. Each takes the tightening or loosening of 2-or-3 small wheels on the unit and all of 10-15 *seconds* of time to do so.
I'm pretty handy but, every time I think about getting this thing and then watch this video, I start sweating and think to myself, "Self, I'm good with just blocking my Floyd to be down-pitch only"
Yes, I agree. Any tremolo user, Steve Vai for example, should take the stabilizers out of all their guitars and just learn how to play a tremolo correctly.

Thank you very much for your video regarding the trem setter on the Fender strat. My fender has one but I've never known how to set it properly
Very well explained, I couldn't do it just by reading the instructions that came with the tremsetter.

Hipshot, please re-do this ten-year old video so it isn't so blurry.
Hi J Mhr. Thanks for the feedback. We hope to re-do all our old videos and produce many new ones in the near future.
@@hipshot how are you coming along with that?
@@thegoodguy44 They hoped you forget.
Can't wait to do this to my 1963 Strat!
LOL
this is some rocket science
I was just going to block my Trem, but maybe I’ll adjust my trendsetter instead, thanks.
That’s clear as mud! Yep not gonna drill into my ax!

not solving the double stop bending, without tweaking the tremolno. nope.
Tremsetter has nothing to do with Tremol-no. Ttwo different functions.
Jesus Christ... I love the Hipshot Tremsetter but this is like watching Doc Brown explain his plan to wire up the clocktower for 1.21.giggawatts.

go get yourself one. it solved my problem. whats the point of having down pitch only tremolo?
@@raipramana843 i actually use ESP-type stabilizers now. it's 4 little screws and some blue Loctite on certain threads.
Lmao, tru dat
Tremol-No and Tremsetter are only for people who don't know how to play guitar using a trem equiped guitar
Fool
