Hey everyone I have released a new quiz to find out which Lightsaber Combat Form you would have in the Star Wars universe! Check it here: ruclips.net/video/e675X-EZ8S8/видео.html
I'd likely specialize in Makashi and Juyo while delving into all 7. The subtlety of Makashi would perfectly balance out the boldness of Juyo. Both were quite rare by the time of the clone wars which would likely catch many duelists off guard. The use of unorthodox styles and techniques served grievous very well during the clone wars and he is among my all time favorites in legends.
A combination between sorseu for defense and vapaad for offense. Because a strong defense is a good offence and you have to show discipline in both style. Leia's Lair you get a thumbs up on breaking it down all the lightsabers combat styles great job !!😀
Just for future reference, the backhand style is known unofficially as the Katanamaru. Though mostly within the Jedi Academy gaming community. It may not be official, but seeing as the game exists within the Legends continuity, I thought it worth mentioning. Also, keep up the great work.
I favour: Form I Shii-cho (The Determination Form) Form III Soresu (The Resilience Form) Form V Djem so/Shien (The Perseverance Form) Form VI Niman (The Moderation Form/ The Diplomats Form)
I would say Form VI (because I'm annoyingly indecisive but also quite creative when I put my mind to it) and Form III, because I would prefer to not hurt my opponent and it's Obi-Wan's style. Which one is your favourite?
Star Wars Lore Keeper great choices and the reasoning behind it :) my favourite is a hard question, I would say Ataru is definitely cool to watch because of the acrobatics, and Makashi for the finesse and graceful movements
I would like to learn all of them (as its good to know many styles that can be useful in a battle), but If I had to pick 3 (aside from Form 1 Shii-Cho being mandatory for younglings/newcomers to the Jedi Academy) mine would be Form 2 Makashi, Form 3 Soresu, and Form 5 Shien. As an additional bonus, I'd also use dual blade sabres too XD cause why not
Same for me about Form 2. I like how its been noted as a classic like form (where the wielder looks like he/she is almost dancing and values precision blade work and precise foot movement/positioning)
RabuHina as much as i wish i had the dedication, my pride and occasional agression would be suited to form 7, but i agree form 2 is the most aesthetic, creating a clear tempo and flow of combat.
Smart idea. And if you were fighting a really evil Sith Lord, maybe Form 7 could be useful there since it feeds off the dark energy of the opponent and pushes back to him/her giving the user of Form 7 a huge advantage
Sense all Jedi learn Shii-Cho, that is what I will learn... at first. I would also learn Makashi for efficiency of movement and strike precision. Finally, I would learn Nimon for unpredictability. This will go well with my curved hilt yellow light saber.
Impressive video, this is why I love star wars legends,I prefer form ll makashi form lll soretsu and form lV Ataru,it makes you feel good combat but grace and discipline reflex,I don't want to kill my enemies only disarm any weapons that they can use,if i can kill a enemy who's can't turned back then so be it but only with good reasons and I really like jumping and kicking to attack the enemies with a good acrobatics.
Hmmmm I chose Form Four, The Ataru, a surprisingly amazing form. Personally, I think it's the most agile form out of all the forms I've seen Yoda In action A lot of times, and he is a total Master of the Ataru. Summer Saults and Leaps would be pretty useful of course. If I were a Jedi in training, that's the first form I would master. Not only that, I also like defense. Defense is always useful for fights, that's why I also chose Form Three, the Soresu. Now we all know that Obi-Wan uses is lightsaber for Defense not attacking, BUT he does attack of course(if your in a lightsaber fight, who wouldn't attack)he let's his opponent strike first, then he will strike. So yeah the two forms I chose are my favorite and I'd master Soresu after the Ataru.
I don't understand why this became legends. Each form is described in greater detail and they still have a lot of the same info in canon. One thing that makes no sense is how in canon they switched the definitions of form 3 and 4
Both legends and canon forms are the same thing aren't they? Also, Niman is what got most if the jedi on Geo killed in the jedi invasion before the clones came and kicked the clankers asses. I think if they had used Forms III, V (Shien), and IV, they would’ve survived as those were the best for the situation.
Did you know there is a Forbidden lightsaber form? If you guys don't believe me, look up Stupendous Wave. If you guys watch him, then you know exactly what I'm talking about.

Leia's Lair curious in regards to this vid above what of the sith fighting styles as until the rule of two there were several farms for sith as well
Sins when is this legends?
I like Form VI, because it uses a combination of techniques and can be tailored to fit the user. Thank you! This video was very informative.

I like the legends forms better than the canon forms.
Jaina Solo yes completely agree, there's just more information on them in legends
You forgot the form that only obi-wan could ever master ............
THE HIGH GROUND!
Solly Victor look up Sokan on wookiepedia.
A combination between sorseu for defense and vapaad for offense. Because a strong defense is a good offence and you have to show discipline in both style. Leia's Lair you get a thumbs up on breaking it down all the lightsabers combat styles great job !!😀
Forms 3 and 7
I believe 2 and 3 should be mastered with some 5 or 7 mix in for power shots
I would love to learn all of them for sure form 2 Makaski, form 3 Soresu, and form 5 Shien/Djem So
still doing good work, keep it up 👍
Walt Disney should have just left the Legends material alone and settle itself
Cool. Thx for the help with the forms

Danahae Barraclough thanks for the tip :) and I'm glad you like the videos
What about Jar Kai duel blade fencing?
I Form Is Form 5
Both defense and offense
Id rock form 5 (djem so) with elements from soresu(3) and makashi(2)
I favour:
Form I Shii-cho
(The Determination Form)
Form III Soresu
(The Resilience Form)
Form V Djem so/Shien
(The Perseverance Form)
Form VI Niman
(The Moderation Form/ The Diplomats Form)
Deserve moar subs than she has
legion prime thank you for the lovely comment :)
Form VI because if I master I basically mastered 6 out of 7 of the forms
I would say Form VI (because I'm annoyingly indecisive but also quite creative when I put my mind to it) and Form III, because I would prefer to not hurt my opponent and it's Obi-Wan's style. Which one is your favourite?
Star Wars Lore Keeper great choices and the reasoning behind it :) my favourite is a hard question, I would say Ataru is definitely cool to watch because of the acrobatics, and Makashi for the finesse and graceful movements
Leia's Lair oooh nice ataru and makashi, very Shaak Ti. I like the one handed element of Makashi.
Star Wars Lore Keeper exactly, watching Count Dooku and Ki-Adi-Mundi styles in the movies were great :)
Form II
I be a atanu fighter form 4, also luck on 3000 scribers
Rey’s untrained form appears to be Juyo.
Scott Grohs What did finn's loik like?
flailing about

RabuHina Form 2 is primarily for a single blade, a sort of fencing style, which two weapons would minimise its efficacy.
RabuHina For myself itd certainly be form 2 3 and 7, which i feel is a very well rounded form set, otherwise i would attempt to fully master form 2.

So...are you playing swb2 on the console ?!
Form 2 and 7 for me 7 for the fact it is the most ferocious form and 2 is an elegant fencing stype so I could easily switch
Sense all Jedi learn Shii-Cho, that is what I will learn... at first. I would also learn Makashi for efficiency of movement and strike precision. Finally, I would learn Nimon for unpredictability. This will go well with my curved hilt yellow light saber.
Form 6: Niman, why focus oneself to just the tool in hand when one can use the surroundings as well.
What about the Jar Kai??? It's a two bladed style...
Hmmmm I chose Form Four, The Ataru, a surprisingly amazing form. Personally, I think it's the most agile form out of all the forms I've seen Yoda In action A lot of times, and he is a total Master of the Ataru. Va paad mostly because i know id be dark side lol
Form 3 seems like the most efficient
I don't understand why this became legends. Each form is described in greater detail and they still have a lot of the same info in canon. One thing that makes no sense is how in canon they switched the definitions of form 3 and 4
I'd combine Form 2 & Form 4
nice voice
Gerard Coronel thank you :)

i misread it as Leia's hair
