It's hard to believe it's been more than 12 years since we've seen anything from this series (we don't talk about Million Memories). Wild Arms 3's pre-release is by far the greatest hype I had regarding this series seeing as it was making the jump to the PS2. I wasn't disappointed, especially thanks to its great cast of characters and awesome music. Gameplay and story was standard, but as with all games in this series it scratched an itch for Wild West JRPGs that you can't really find anywhere else.
I wish all three Wild ARMs PS2 titles were released on PSN, but unfortunately only 3 was. I loved the first two and have yet to play the latter three, but I trust your judgment as always so I got to get around to playing them!
While we haven't seen a new game in a long while, I thought it was a nice sign that WA1 got included in the PSX Mini. It shows that the series is not entirely forgotten, so there might still be hope for a new game eventually. We have seen more than enough somewhat obscure series suddenly make a return in recent years, so who knows.
@@DAMIENNATHANIEL Who did what? Bayonetta is a Sega franchise, not a Nintendo or Sony one. The game is only exclusive to Switch because Nintendo paid for Bayonetta 2 and 3 to even exist.
i love the series. Persona 5 has brought some life to the genre, and i think now would be a good time to bring a WA 6. It can be a strong game with unique setting and bomb music. Old fans are still waiting
@@lightdragoon88 OFC! i hope they would finish the game with care and attention, fundraisers like that can fail miserably because of mismanagement. i think about this project like once a month, wondering how they're doing lol
I started playing this game for the first time (PS4 version) just a few days ago.:) It has some things that annoy me a lot like for example no explanation about the status ailments symbols (among other things) but overall i find it a really interesting game. The soundtrack is definitely one of its highlights. Also i'm curious what Media Vision is currently working on. Their last game was Valkyria Chronicles 4 (along with Sega) and that came out in 2018...
@OmegaChase1002 The only problem being people don't GET manuals with digital games. I used to read that manual over and over LONG after I'd moved to later generations.

It been a while but we got a spirit sequel in the works.
This game deserves a fully cel shaded, voice acted remake. Fantastic game from start to finish.
On g frfr
I feel like if they do they need to do Wild ARMs 1& 2 first. Like you can't really fully appreciate Janus without first having Ashley.

one of the best battle theme in all video games, such underrated track
Id purposely stop flying after saving and initiate a fight just to hear it.
1:02 really reminds me of the start of Iron Blue Intention from Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin.
I got Wild Arms 3 at a flea market a number of years ago, but haven't tried it out. I have WA 2 as well.
You are in for a good time :) afterwards try out WA4, its not bad IMO
Underwhelming gameplay, overwhelming story
Really wishing this particular game got a remaster on the Switch. It's the perfect one to have it to my eyes.
It's a sony franchise, dude.
@@theLikou1 I know. Asking Sony to put it on the Switch if they willing to. They did it for Bayonetta.

This theme tells me I got the draw on the enemy.

I'm also wondering what they're working on. Seeing as VC4 was well received and sold pretty well, they might simply be working on VC5. We'll see!
I don't know if you people heard but I think they are working on something called Armed Fantasia: To the End of the Wilderness.
Just read the manual bro. 💀

Why is this my favorite jrpg (outside of the saga series)? Nothing done great, everything done right... Well except OST which is a true gem.
It’s back on PS Premium, I’ll probably grab it
wild arms is so good, a western themed jrpg with stylized elements based on trigun, why cant i give you my money faster!
The gameplay is good the story is decent
but the puzzle man....
THE FREAKING PUZZLE.
Sandstorm Man - MMN Remix
The world needs Wild Arms 4
