Best final boss music, and IMO, the best final boss in a video game. So what if he's actually not difficult to defeat?! The combination of the symbolism and themes make it a truly awesome fight.
A simple graphics, software, and mechanics update would be lovely though. Wild ARMs: 2nd Ignition had very surprising depth on both an emotional and story level for a game of that era, and I'd venture to say that even 95% of games since that time can't come close to its particular level of quality, story-wise at least. It's one of few games I accepted into the same echelon as FF7, FF3, ZOE 2nd Runner, Tales of Destiny, and so on. It's one of the greatest games of all time, in other words.

This particular piece from MtB. Is utterly brilliant. The composition was already incredible using the main themes motif laced into the track. But MtB made it even better

He handed it over to Shirasaka-san who designed WA games beyond WA4 and has been director on Chaos Rings Omega and Chaos Rings III and battle planner on Rings and Omega. If somebody blames HEX system on Kaneko it's on Shirasaka but WA4 in general was a bad game which made Kaneko stepped down from the series and hasn't touched it since WA4. He wanted a younger generation to lead forward for the series as he started to feel old for the gaming industry evolving quick. Shirasaka never worked on XF but Dragon Ball for Wii. After that it has been Chaos Rings on smartphones and then radio silent after CR3. Ah yeah, btw. A new Wild Arms has been reported to be in production this year. MediaVision was looking for a character designer last year who can properly draw models of people to use realism. Their custom engine can only create manga-like images such as Digimon Story, Valkyria Chronicles 4, the smaller games. So I assume they must be using Unreal Engine. Archipel's documentary from last year can give you a hint from Keiichiro Toyama that Japan Studio can now make big games thanks to Unreal Engine which can create Japan-like images and they have been reorganized. With both from a producer who said same thing for 2017 ambitions that "Japan Studio is moving forward with the creation of ambitious new titles and new title concepts at the same time" and studio director mentioned new technology over their custom engine that showed some age on PS4 is not a surprise for them to use Unreal Engine. With Unreal Engine they can go directly to design concepts without worrying about making a engine. Before everything had to be made from scratch but with Unreal Engine they can now create Japan-like images more flexible and bigger. Custom engines for Japan is coming to an end the larger the games get. Unless you plan to have 300-500 people on a project which is not sustainable in Japan according to studio director at Japan Studio.

I personally enjoyed Wild Arms 5 except for the ending, and Wild Arms 4 is something you should see yourself before deciding. Both of the games change things up regarding gameplay with the Hex System and plot compared to the,pervious entires. I still enjoyed them, as it's still Wild Arms, though I would recommend 5 over 4.
They should remake Wild Arms 2 for the next gen systems, make the graphics better, and make THIS the final boss music (not that I don't love the original too, but this one just kicks ass!)
