Just to get a backstory on her.. this woman has been through so much.There was a a bombing at her concert which resulted in 23 deaths including the terrorist and 800 injuries, it was known as the Manchester Arena bombing and her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller passed away 2 years ago. She’s definitely been working on herself and her work so I would recommend listening to her recent music such as social house and also an old song from her that is timeless ‘Almost is never enough’
What Ariana did was a high falsetto on the note Eb6. She was half a note of from whistle. She actually can do whistle notes. If you want to check them out I recommend her cover of "Emotions" which is actually a Mariah Carey song. She hit every single one of them so good. Either that or "Imagine" which is her song and she did it live on the Jimmy Fallon show. She also did whistle notes that never fail. If you guys want to hear the power in her voice i DEFINITELY recommend "Focus" live at the AMA's in 2015. You'll her the difference in her voice back then because the performance that you reacted to was in 2018. If you could react to just one of these, you'd make my day. Thanks so much!

If you're going to watch a live God is a Woman performance, the MTV VMA performance is visually AMAZING! Personally I don't think her vocals come across as clear, it's almost like they gave her an inferior microphone or something because it doesn't do her voice enough justice, but the performance is like a living painting and it's truly an amazing performance to watch, if even just in your down time!

Ariana was a guest on Tonight Show / (late night TV is actually filmed 3-7 PM, then edited, and run as pre recorded later that night) just before taping began, the announcement of Aretha's passing over the news wire. As Ariana was a guest, w/ new music to promote, she scrapped that plan, and with minimal rehearsal time, w/ The Roots, she wanted to do this song instead. She ordered a black outfit, and crushed this tribute. Ariana was a huge HUGE fan of Aretha, and I thought her tame quiet version of this was so respectful. She didn't show off runs,, and belts,, and a whole 'look at me' attitude. She did a fantastic job, (I think) -&- hope y'all enjoy it.

If you're going to watch a live God is a Woman performance, the MTV VMA performance is visually AMAZING! Personally I don't think her vocals come across as clear, it's almost like they gave her an inferior microphone or something because it doesn't do her voice enough justice, but the performance is like a living painting and it's truly an amazing performance to watch, if even just in your down time!

Totally checked out Stone Sour after this video and whoa dudes I am happy!!, I had no idea it was the singer from Slipknot!!! Also did't know I knew the song, HA! I adore his voice! Now I'm doing down a rabbit hole of Slipknot and my teenage angst is all coming back with the maturity of adulthood and damn this shit holds up. Thank you both!! So Damn dope!
