Definitely my favorite place to fish of all the inshore places around here. Definitely can be a very dangerous place especially in the fall and winter but i love it out there!😊

At the end of the video we used to call that "shark fin rock' and I have caught some nice sheep there as well as some that would fit easily in my home saltwater tank.
😂 That sheep was so tiny! It’s good to know that there could be some bigger ones down there! I still had a 3/4oz jig tied on…I couldn’t believe that little fish hit that.
Me and my buddy got stuck on the island there after we walked the jetty at low tide a few years ago 😂😂 great video dude 🫡🫡
Haha!! Oh no!! There were a bunch of people out walking it on Saturday too. I’d like to do that sometime. Go out at low and fish through the tide cycle.

I bought it at Great Outdoor Provision Company in Wilmington, NC. It is an Old Town Autopilot 120.
Do you prefer fishing in the fort fisher area vs the oak island/south port area? I see you target both spots often.
Southport is my favorite. Fort fisher is a close second. Oak island is definitely growing on me.
@@meistershyster OK good to know I live in the Wrightsville Beach area and Fish here all the time I’ve never once ventured out to Oak Island or Southport, but I want to switch things up and try some new territory tomorrow and I think you answered my question. Thanks!

I launch from Dutchman’s creek boat ramp but it’s about 2 miles down to the Elizabeth river where I fish.
