I played Allstate in 1981, we played hard music, but nothing like this. Congratulations!

Yeah!!! This was amazing. I was 11th violist btw, sitting a few feet in front of you. Oh. My. Gosh. Trumpets were amazing. Gotta love great brass. You probably saw me sneaking peeks back at y'all all the time because it's fun to watch good people play. Trevor was awesome again, second year in a row!

Wait? Trevor Fucking Holmes was principal again? That explains everything. Jesus.. he's been principal on Wine-Dark, Alpine, and now Rite. Take a bow, Trevor. I know you're in here somewhere.

@@markyochoa Exactly. I was there for Alpine and every single dang time we started playing I was impressed. Kept meaning to talk to the trumpets and thank them! I hear you weren't bad yourself, Ochoa. Lol

@@markyochoa Went to hs with him before he left this year to Princeton, really chill dude. in the symphonic band rehearsal(the room to the right) if we listened closely we could hear the symphony orchestra rehearse, awesome to watch as well.

Hey. I was wondering how long you have been playing the violin. I’m in 9th grade and my dream is to make all state but I started in 6th grade so i’m afraid that I’m at a disadvantage and I want to know if my inexperience puts me that far behind

Your Average Young Composer hi!! I made all state this year as a freshman (I actually played in this ensemble lol). It’s definitely possible to make state even without so much experience. All you need is a lot of hard work and determination! There’s actually someone from my studio who started in 6th and made it into the top orch, so I know for a fact it’s doable. Best of luck to you!!

@@musicstuff698 always believe in yourself man. It takes a lot of dedication and hard work. Its definitely possible. You dont have to be a violin prodigy. It's your drive, passion, and dedication that will do it. I wish you the best of luck.

I would've loved for him to just casually walk over to the table and pour himself a cup of water while the orchestra keeps playing
