I was at this concert. It was July 1984.It was the last concert of "The End Of The Road" tour at the Milton Keynes Bowl and was supposed to be their last ever live show.It didn't last long because they opened the Live Aid concert a year later and they reformed with a new drummer and bass player in 1986.
Man, you have opened up a can of worms here - these guys have been around since the 60s and have sold over 120 million records - it will take you a month to react to just their charted hits, let alone their other stuff! Enjoy, brother!
Back in the days we were rocking on Status Quo on the dance floor. We stand in a row and played on an imaginary guitar. Like they did on the last part of the video. Hilarious when I think of that now. 🎸🎸🎸🤣
yeah the Fender Telecaster Brigade strikes again, im glad i saw them live in Belgium in this line up.... thanks for the reaction grts from a dutch cheesehead in Germany, i shared it btw
I have almost all their CD's. You cant sit stil and watch this. They where there from the early 70th til now. Only 2 member are passed away. 2 of the guitar players we just saw, the blond one on the left and the darker hair one on the right he play the bas.
I've not watched this, 'End of the Road', footage for a while and did wonder whether it was this performance where some idiot threw a bottle at them toward the end of the performance, and it was. Rick doesn't look too pleased about it. Luckily, they all saw it coming and dodged out of the way of it. And for the song; it's one of their most iconic numbers, but sadly is over-played. Practically every TV performance would be described as them, 'Rockin' All Over The World', regardless of what song they were doing. A cover version of a John Fogerty song, that was a late edition to the album it was recovered on in 1977. The sad part is, they produced so many other songs that were as good, if not better, and yet this is the one song they're known for, (by the general public), along with a couple of others. Mystery Song Down Down Paper Plane Break The Rules A few other songs by them you might want to react to.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that this is the Philidelphia leg of the 1985 Live aid Concert and Status quo opened up both concerts with this Brilliant number. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

But Status Quo survived good even from Lancaster, Rhino is their bassist from 1985 uptil today (even longer than Alan) and even if Parfitt is highly missed he was involved to choose his replacement, Richie Malone.. Quo is still Alive!
Rocking all over the world was also the opening song for the Live Aid concert in 1985. They smashed it!
Around that time, 1975, every band was glitter. But not the quo. They where rock, blues Rock, hard rock..rocking all over. Their success was gigantic.

“We don’t need to go anywhere else-the world came here”. 🤣 Love it.

Love the Quo!!
This is from their so-called 'farewell' concert in 1984 - they are still going...
They were huge! And still playing.. try Roll over Lay Down🎶

You mean RICK AND ALAN.
Have some respect and call them by their names.
I love these guys.
I mean, really love them.
They are family to me.
Now 100% of all mankind knows Status Quo 😉 I love your reviews! Greatings from Germany
Out of this world fantastic
Status Quo only had one song that made it on the U.S. hits chart, Pictures of Matchstick Men in 1968 but were hugely popular in Europe!
Ice in the sun ...also charted in the US👍
Grown up with this group, funny singer. Sadly the blond gitarist has passed last year i believe
Yes and the dark hair a few weeks back
I'm in that crowd somewhere 🤘
I was there…it was epic…
This was written by John Fogerty from Credence Clearwater Revival, but it might as well be their's at this point
I like Quo but have to say I prefer the original John Fogerty version.

Mystery Song
Down Down
Paper Plane
Break The Rules
A few other songs by them you might want to react to.
Please do some Status Quo reactions to the Frantic Four Reunion concerts. That's the real Quo.
That was the original!
Shei =. CARISSIMO

Try "Whatever You Want", "Down Down" or "Pictures of Matchstick Men"
It's A John Fogerty Song
Love Love Love SQ
Yo got to do. Down Down
I was there
❗At minute 04.14 some idiot trew a bottle that almost hit Rick's guitar ❗
Amazing how fast Rick turn sideways to avoid the bottle hit his guitar...🎸
You would like 'Roadhouse Blues' by Status Quo. Much heavier rock and roll and rough and raw.
Listen ' A year'

This song was written by John Fogarty but Status Quo made a big hit with it. This have to be from the Live Aid consert
Watch the End of The Road Tour video July 1984!
Gee, do you think they would've been a big succe$$ in the USA if they got airplay and promotion??
The mighty Quo !! Sadly Rick parfitt ( the greatest rhythm guitarist in rock ) and Alan Lancaster are no longer with us
But Status Quo survived good even from Lancaster, Rhino is their bassist from 1985 uptil today (even longer than Alan) and even if Parfitt is highly missed he was involved to choose his replacement, Richie Malone.. Quo is still Alive!
@@leiper72 Richie is perfect
I love the Backbone album 👍🏻😊
One place you can not rock all over the world- Russia.
This is the UK, if you are no good, you'll be told.
Are you Mark knophler
The only song of Status Quo that is considered great that I really don't like. I want to like it but its just a too cheap put together piece of music.
