- Feat of one hundred arrows shot in succession.
In addition to loading from the hand there's four different traditional quivers with different arrow nocking techniques featured.
The bow is Crimean Tatar model by Hungarian bowyer Csaba Grozer.
You can find Grozer online shop of traditional recurve bows here:
nomadbows.com/stk/index.php?id...
Draw weight of the bow used is around 40lbs with my usual 31,5" draw length.
I use 32" wooden arrows with the wonderful M-nocks from Vermil Archery.
(Unfortunately my target angle camera battery died while filming so that picture-in-picture view is up only for a short while from the start, but luckily enough to show the feat setting.)

That one archer who survived the battle in age of empires after you tell him to keep attacking while you get more units.
Nostalgic
Just imagine a huskarl after 80 shots of chi-ko-nu will look the same as the target in the video
What will happen when this archer will face Genhis Khan in AOE.

Underrated comment right here !
@@Jimmy-rw8hj I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow in the knee
If you've ever drawn a non compound bow you realise how freakin hard this is! Bow's in RESPECT!
That last archer from Clash Of Clan that ends up destroying everything that remains.
Understandable , have a nice day.

Archer queen that is shooting through a 3 layer wall instead of walking around it:

You too are waiting for the tchak?
I'm a little amused to see some guys pickup on one missed arrow. This is real, unedited archery. It's not a movie or cartoon character. In speed shooting an occasional fumble can be expected. Probably many of us miss an arrow every hundred shots but some people can do it in two minutes and others might take two weeks. Happy arrows.
This comment is sexist.

RUclips recommendations: Watch this dude shot 100 arrows consecutively.
Boss fights in Destiny when you used up all your heavy ammo
Vorpal weapon all the way 😂
Welcome brothers, the algorithm has Gathered us all here to witness this.
Good job algorithm, never thought I'd see the day when it worked well... Lol
This is how youtube makes ad revenues.
Old videos doesn't have ad monetization rules like today maybe, so they do this for instant money.
Legends says he kept shooting arrows until the end of time.
This is like in mount and blade when you have a bow and fill the rest of your slots with quivers instead of a melee weapon or shield
100 arrow shots in 5 minutes and 42 seconds , thats 342 seconds , thats 1 arrow every 3.42 seconds ...
In layman's terms , he fast as fuk boi ...
Imagine this is how your character looks like in RPG games... All the items you carry can literally be seen in your character
Me when a giant starts running towards me in Skyrim
No one can walk down range to retrieve “their” 6 arrows till this guy is done
When you pick up every arrow you find in Skyrim but never used it.
You know... after about 17 arrows, I think I got the gist of this video.
I went ahead with the mouse
and it cost me only 1 minute of my time :)
Why you need so many arrows. Just enchant infinity to your bow.
Lol
This is the reality of those movies who have bow and unlimited arrows
This is my character in Mount and Blades 2. 1 bow and 3 packs of arrows
when the shoot button on your controller gets stuck
Did I just spend 6 minutes watching a dude fire 100 arrows into a target? Yes
Do I regret it? Yes but only because I want to do this now
Ah that Strange Phenomenon called Recommendations...
When u play M&B and use 3 slot for arrow ammo
Impressive! Now comes the worst part... pulling 100 arrows out of the target.
I can really appreciate the various techniques used to retrieve and index arrows from all the various quivers. Well done
Thanks! One key idea here was to feature different kind of quivers and loading. I'm glad it shows.
now im imagining my skyrim character with 630 equipped arrows
last time i checked (yesterday) i had more than 2000 arrows with me! fyi i just completed the civil war quest and looted every dead soldier i could find for their arrows
@@m.k.2227 I have one character with upwards of 6,000, but my current one after going through sovngarde has 630, i leveled her smithing skill with rings and arrows lol
Not in California. They've even limited bows to a 10 round magazine.
Underrated comment right here.
That doesn't make sense because. A bow and arrow doesn't use magazine
Lmao good one
Is it dead yet?
Hahaha thx for that 😅
Nope, the virus still there
Imagine a battle, where 300 bowmen are doing this? 1,000? 5,000 mounted bowmen?
Your army will need thousands of arrows for one battle. You may not be able to recover them all, even if you win.
To win even a relatively short war, you will need tens of thousands of arrows (logistics).
You will need dozens of wagons and horses to haul those arrows. Just the arrows.
Now, you need to feed the bownmen, horses, and wagoners, and keep additional supplies on hand to repair the wagons. Plus, all of their 'uniforms' and gear.
All of that, and more, is just for hauling the bowmen's arrows and gear around the countryside.
This means that bowmen - and their arrows - are very expensive.
You use them only when necessary, and do not risk them unnecessarily, even on a battlefield.
;).
It takes years to train a good bowman, and they are difficult to replace, when you lose one. ;)
This is all off the top of my head. The details vary from army to army, region to region, and period to period.
Some of the most famous bowmen in history were the Scythians.
my head is going to explode
XDDDDD
My favourite bowmen are the mongols
Better pick them up before it disappear.
And that's why magical spacious quivers are a thing in D&D
Mad respect for your skill conditioning and form. After shooting 20 arrows in a row my forearm burns from khatra and my draw hand cramps a bit. When I saw at the end that you were shooting without a ring I knew that you have been shooting a long time! Inspiring work, congratulations on attaining such a difficult feat of martial prowess.
Was he really shooting with a thumb draw? I thought he was using the Slavic draw
@@mine_green. Yes. You can't really shoot holding arrows in the draw hand with slavic and his thumb is definitely on the string.
Thank you, Colin. Yes I shoot without a ring. I've tried them but never found them suit me. Also, in horseback archery only bare thumb gives me the required speed.
@@mine_green. I shoot with thumb draw.
That one teammate who hoards all the ammo.
The legend says His Thumb Steel Bleeding
Congratulations, that is way more difficult to achieve than you made it look. My respect

You are insane! Your arm must have hurt like hell after that!
Part 2 “collecting 100 arrows in succession”
i liked that part when he shot an arrow
100 shots, 4 quiver drawing techniques, only one miss. You are the equivalent of a medieval machine gun
Yesss! RUclips recommendation has brought us all together again to watch a random video! See you all again after 4 years brothers and sisters.
This guy will be summoned as a servant in the next Holy Grail War
I'm still waiting... For..
Him to activate his attack speed buff.
Wrong bow
Ahh the youtube recommendations are a beautiful thing.
Great shooting! I have a fat quiver with over 100 light arrows and do this for distance shooting. I know it takes a lot of endurance even with a light bow. Your bow looks quite snappy and I am impressed at the level of accuracy you can maintain on target. You are an inspirational archer. Also I just watched your "shoots with swans" vid. I get your affinity with them, as an archer would. I have my beautiful greylag geese. They give me feathers. Cheers to you , Ugri Archer.
Shooting 100 arrows was not a big deal
He had a 100 arrows that is what shocked me😂!!
I have only 4 😭😭😭😭
this is what you should look like when you equip 1 bow and 3 quivers of arrow to your character in Mount and Blade
So that's how archers in video games manage to shoot so many arrows.
One of the gondorian archers trapped in the citadel of minas tirith:
I used to be an adventurer like you then I took 100 arrows to the knee
Imagine actually being in a war situation and having to be an Archer like this. That's pressure. Joke all you want, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that kind onslaught
And total war games gives 15 arrows to your elite archers...
How an actual archer would look like if he/she would raid a dungeon
Especially with the way he walks into frame in the beginning
Me starting a new play through on Skyrim: I’m gonna mix it up and be a one handed weapon battle mage
5 min later:
I would have immediately dropped one arrow, then would drop the rest trying to pick up the one I dropped.

Seriously 360 seconds to fire 100 arrows?. Average of 3.6 seconds per arrow ... Impressive!!!!
"Haha he looks ridiculous" says no one ever to someone with 100 arrows.
Damn, he got a lot of arm strength, i usually get exhausted after like 30-35 arrows.

I mean, I don’t know what else I was expecting. Just a guy shooting 100 arrows.
Holy crap. I'm impressed that this guy has so many arrows. At the rate I pay for Easton pre-made aluminum 1616 arrows with nocks and points, that would come to over a $1000.
Why are all the comments so recent ? Anyway this dude is like a real life Legolas

There's one miss.

I like the part where he shoots arrows
Yeah especialy when he shot that other arrow
I cant believe 1.5 million people watching this guy just shoot 100 arrows for not reason at all.
Oh but there was a reason. And that was simply to shoot 100 arrows in succession. This kind of endurance and consistency excersises are common in traditional archery of many different cultures.
This is what an archer in games looks like with hundreds of arrows.
When you have 4 weapon slots in Mount and Blade and you use 3 of them for arrows
If he existed in the days before gunpowder in the age of sword and bow he would have been assigned like 5 guards to make sure he wasn’t attacked while he just mowed the fuck out of the enemies
this is what looks like when your ranger game character have a 100+ arrow in inventory.. it's so heavy hahaha
When your created character looks like in Skyrim while carrying 100 arrows or more if only there will be a mod to see this

This guy shoots 100 arrows in 6 minutes, and all people can say is, "he missed a couple times".
I tried out a 45 pound bow before.
While that's not the heaviest poundage bow in the world, I can't imagine loosing 100 arrows, let alone in 6 minutes.
