Ultimately, he is Trunks's father, not Goku, and its his responsibility to protect his family. My guess is he subconsciously knows that from the very beginning and blaming Goku was just a defensive mechanism, given his proud nature. But Vegeta is man enough to recognize that mistake almost immediately and put a blame where it belongs, on his own shoulders. And that's what prompts his mad attack, alone, without asking for assistance from the rest of a team, the knowledge that his previous actions allowed Cell to become complete.

It's due to 1 particular cell that if it's not targeted he can keep on regenerate. So you must make sure that particular cell is destroyed totally all the way to its atom.

B) Cell also got a Zenkai boost like the saiyans do from near death, making him stronger then he was before (notice his aura has the electric like SSJ2) Gohan also lost a ton of energy with that rash save he did for Vegeta, he wasn't defending himself properly. Gohan states later that his ki (energy) is at about half of his max at this point. Give Gohan a senzu bean, and even Super Perfect Zenaki boosted Cell would get wreked by Gohan. Also Gohan was emotionally messed up at the loss of his father, his confidence was not great, and he was questioning himself. If you took the Gohan from right when he turned SSJ2 and put him against Cell here, Gohan would still easily beat him.

Cell was never close to SSJ2 Gohan at full power, even after Cell got his zenkai boost. Full power SSJ2 Gohan was completely untouchable at this point. A Full power Gohan would have absolutely dominated Cell just like he did prior to Cells Zenkai.

Nope he didn't, android 17 was fully digested by that time in the saga before he blew up, you have to remember he absorbed 17 first and it was atleast 1/2 hours or so before he managed to absorb 18, that's why she was still in there because 17 was being digested first. We dont know how long the process takes for cell to digest considering they were absorbed in full humanoid form, every other victim were liquefied while the absorbing progress began.

Due to friezas genes cell is able to survive being blown to bits (frieza survived being chopped up by trunks, the blast killed him), due to namekian regeneration cell was able to reform himself and due to his saiyan genes he got a big juicy zenkai on top

they butchered the explantion for Cell's regeneration return back into the Perfectform, it is due his Sayain Cells giving him a zenkai boost from being near death, nothing else gave him the power up besides that and Piccolo's Cells allowing for the complete regeneration, the fact that his entire body was destroyed also allowed him to transform back to the Perfectform.
This episode is so badly adapted. You've lost a lot of explanations and important sentences. For example, Trunks is not in a bad shape. He's dead. The blood puking is to show his death. Cell's explanation is also different. Only one cell can make him regenerate. Gohan also has bad translation. Cell asked, "Why are you smiling? And Gohan answered, " I'm happy. Because my dad died by my fault, I'm happy to be able to avenge him. I wanted to destroy you with my hands. " That's why he closed his hand, ready to fight. Before Vegeta attacked Cell, his speech is totally different, saying that he let his son perish and it's his duty to defeat Cell, not the Son family's. He also said when he took a break, "Cell ! they butchered the explantion for Cell's regeneration return back into the Perfectform, it is due his Sayain Cells giving him a zenkai boost from being near death, nothing else gave him the power up besides that and Piccolo's Cells allowing for the complete regeneration, the fact that his entire body was destroyed also allowed him to transform back to the Perfectform.

By all accounts, Trunks's death should have sent Vegeta to ssj2 right then and there.
This episode is so badly adapted. You've lost a lot of explanations and important sentences.
For example, Trunks is not in a bad shape. He's dead. The blood puking is to show his death. Cell's explanation is also different. Only one cell can make him regenerate.
Gohan also has bad translation. Cell asked, "Why are you smiling? And Gohan answered, " I'm happy. Because my dad died by my fault, I'm happy to be able to avenge him. I wanted to destroy you with my hands. " That's why he closed his hand, ready to fight.
Before Vegeta attacked Cell, his speech is totally different, saying that he let his son perish and it's his duty to defeat Cell, not the Son family's. He also said when he took a break, "Cell ! I'm the Prince of the Saiyan, I'll kill you!" And Cell answered emerging of the sand "Pff, Prince of my ass"

Vegeta Literally caused every problem in the DBZ series up to this point. Smh Vegeta is literately the 2nd Worse character in the series (in front of krillin for dying too much and guessing wrong every episode about something)

This version of Cell is called Super Perfect Cell . He basically close to SSJ2 Gohan's power but SSJ2 Gohan is still waaaaayyyyyy stronger than this Cell

If you ever wanted to torture someone just make them look at Original Dragon Ball Z when Dragon Ball Kai is the best way to watch it. Original Z bad dialogue bad filler
Dragon Ball Z is good and the filler has some nice moments
watching english dub is terrible compared to the OG japanese version.
I mean if you like original Z that's cool but the voice acting is not the best I mean it truly improved in kai in Dragon Ball Z Kai follows the manga closely not 100% but more accurately than DBZ and I can't agree with you filler is bad a one-off episode of filler is okay but Arcs is where I draw the line
