When a team goes up 23 points by halftime, stops blitzing and runs a vanilla zone to be conservative and not give up chunk yards at a given time, it's not unusual for a QB to end a game with inflated passing yards and completion rates.
@Matt Cogar on that 70 yard TD, Mercilus knocks Baker's head off if the guy doesn't hold. And beside the fumble, those were the only chunk plays that weren't yac check downs. Please bro, I watched the game too and it was never close.

I give him a C- because even though he didn’t have a great first half he showed his leadership. When Calloway fumbled the ball at the 5 Baker went up to him and picked him up gave him words of encouragement. Ik there’s some QBs wouldn’t even talked to the player who fumbled. Baker also stayed in the game and he didn’t crumble and throw more ints like Peterman. I’m not a Browns fan but even with the bad day there definitely some positives to take from this game.

Texans whooped on the browns 1st half. Calloways fumble on the 4 yrd line in the 3rd was the difference in the game.
Baker put then browns in the hole with 3 picks. But you have to admit that a lot or at least 90% of rookies would either fold or get benched at that point. Baker proved and keeps proving he still is the best qb out of this year's draft.
We touched the ball once in the first qtr lol. And for the rest of the game every time we had a drive going there was, of course, a penalty to set the browns back 15yds. And then a holding call on defense on every drive.

Terrible first half, but Baker played pretty damn good in the second. Would've been a close game had the Browns stopped shooting themselves in the foot.
I'm actually pleasantly surprised by some of those really deep passes by Baker in the second half. First two interceptions were from good defensive plays, and the third was just a dumb late decision by Baker.

This is what I don’t like about Skip. He won’t mention Mayfield went against the bottom 10 defensive teams the last 3 games but will switch and up and say it’s a top 10 defensive team when he goes bad.
