(He also benefitted from rules that made the game more pass orientated, whilst Shannon played in a run first league, for a run first team in a run heavy division.)
I honestly feel if the situations were reversed and Tony came along first, Shannon would have smashed those records in less time.

Classic Odell. He should just go to somewhere like LA. Much better suited for him. Pass heavy offense, lost Robert Woods, and the LA atmosphere matches his personality. Perfect fit for him.
Had Cleveland made any plays before that that play doesn't matter. Odell wasn't the problem it's a QB who is questionable at reading defenses and isn't very good in the pocket without play action. Everyone cherry pick plays to make people say, "well Baker could have this or that. You can cherry pick more plays that show Baker isn't very good at all. Thought it over WRs heads or at their feet. Where passes were behind them where a pass turns into a nothing play as the WR has to make a great catch on a ball that should have been an easy catch that turns into a big play. The WR has to stop to make the catch. Now there nothing special about Odell. His whole career is 1 catch and a lot of drops for a guy that's supposed to have great hands. His game day hands are usually hands of stone. I don't care what he catches in practice. They don't matter.
Finally someone with high football IQ. Odell is without questions why the browns lost this game!

We started off well injured and the injuries have only piled up since the season. Shannon literally told you we lost our top 3 running backs and multiple our of best cornerbacks. Both of our starting safeties are out rn, though one is only due to covid.

Those 11 games where Baker lost 3 times. Skip never says in those 11 games the running game took off. Cleveland was number 1 in the NFL in rushing. Shannon is right Baker is average at best. You can win with him in a perfect world. But if you think he's going to so called will your team to a win he's not. That doesn't make him bad. There are more than a few QBs who are average in the NFL. Who can win. But their team goes for the most part go nowhere year after year because of their QB who's average at best. The Viking QB comes to mind. Sure, he wins games. But in the end, you're going nowhere. Take out two of the worse plays in the history of playoff football by the refs and a DB. That Viking QB has won nothing. Because he's not that guy, just like Baker. At this time of course. Could be subject to change. But 4 years isn't a simple sample size. It's 57 games of well mostly average to bad QB play. You know who Baker is. I don't remember any QBs this long into their career (games played) that become great. Now Cleveland can run the football and rush the passer. So that could be trouble to some teams because of it. But in the end, they have Baker. Sooner not later it will be in his hands. Not a pretty picture if you look at his whole career.

Alex Smith numbers was terrible and the 49ers was terrible there's no actual comparison there.
@@damianpresha6414 Alex was drafted to one of the worst situations ever, 5 offense coordinators in 5 years, multiple head coaches, his number 1 WR was Arnaz Battle and one of the worst offensive lines in league. Of course his numbers were terrible, Baker has way more talent around him and more than Smith ever did in the first half of his career.
