The 4070ti super is absolutely a 4k card especiall if the 3090ti is. As all creators said it was last generstion. When i can play 90% of games at 80fps+ in 4k its a 4k card. The performance goalposts are constantly shifting. What was once a 4K gaming GPU becomes a 1440p GPU, then with times drops down to 1080p. Eventually becoming absolete. I'm planning to explore this topic further when I'll get my hands on either the RTX 4080 or 4080 SUPER to compare it with my friend's RTX 3080 in games from 2020 vs 2024. Once upon a time, the RTX 3080 held the 4K gaming GPU title. But is it still powerful enough to hold that title in 2024 games? I'm curious to explore this topic.
@theivadim sure but the big problem is 4k gaming shouldn't be based on alan wake. It should be based on the most popular played games. Doing 4k on 90% of games makes it a 4k card. Just because it has sub 60fps in like 5 games total doesn't make them not 4k. This is the problem. The way it's stated imo is false. We play alot of games alan wake is horribly optimized and jusy thrown everything at it. Devs got lazy and just went let's go crazy like they did in cyberpunk. This shouldn't be games we go ok a card instead a 4k card because of this. My problem with testing is f it's able to literally get over 60fps on 90% of games on the market then it's a 4k card.
I'm glad you think so🙂 It was very interesting to explore this topic. I've learned a lot more about how these graphics cards feel than I ever could by looking at performance comparison charts.
Great video! I eventually went with a 4080 (a PNY model that I got on sale that has now been sold out) but was looking into the 4070ti Super because of the extra VRAM (even though I'm sticking with 1440p) as it was the best for me price/performance wise to replace my old 1080ti, but the 4080 with the price I got won me over. Still it's neat to see on how well these cards are holding up, even if they do fall short of expectations. Especially for those coming from the 30-series GPUs.

For 4K, definitely 16GB. For 1440p 12GB is fine for now with the exception of very few games (outliers). I can't predict the future. I wasn't able to achieve a consistent 120FPS experience even at 1080p using an RTX 4070 SUPER. GPU load drops. CPU load is not super high either. I suspect game engine limitations or possibly optimisation issues. Game devs are working hard on fixing multiple issues. So, I hope we'll see improvements at some point. damn. I really wish RUclips recommended me your channel before I got my upgrade to the Ti Super lol. At this point I'm just here to see if I might have overspent going for the Ti Super. My choices were either the Super or the Ti Super but I decided to spend significantly more for the extra VRAM though this decision was mainly caused by DD2 kicking my GPU's ass and eating its VRAM like its nothing like (RTX 3060) also you probably dont hear this much bc people like me generally dont leave comments a lot but thank you for all the benchmarks you've done (peeked at your channel videos). if I was in the market and trying to decide which cards are worth for the resolution and games I play at, you definitely cover it. hoping you get more success in the future man, cheers! I did want 0 compromises experience when it came to playing my games so thanks!! Also really good point on mentioning that future games will likely get more demanding and might in turn force even more compromises when it comes to max settings on the Super
If i bought a $1000 OLED 4k monitor, could I scale down the rez and play in 1080p if i want? On old games like borderlands 1 and 2, skyrim se, etc? OR would the 4k monitor upscale those old games and fill the 32" screen and not look terrible. I have no idea how this all works.
you want 4k gaming at high refresh then get the 4080 or 4090 the 4070 are not it . they are for 1440 gaming with the ti pushing to 4k on a budget, as others have said the 4070 super is a really good value right now.
Oh bro, I got the 4070 ti super and I could have got the 4080 for a bit more. I really want to play at 4K . My concern is I dont believe 16GB of ram was necessary for 4070 ti, because games only need 11gb at most. So far 16gb for me is useless but I want to know if I ever will see a game consume more
can it play MSFS 2020 at 1440p (maybe 4k?) using the Fenix with smooth 60fps? Looking at the 4070 ti super myself. I just upgraded to the 5800x3D from a 3700x. I also don’t use any antialiasing. It either makes numbers look chunky (fxaa, dlaa) or I get ghosting and blur. I have 4k native smart tv and my system is set to 1920X1080. Jaggy as hell too. So I need 4k but don’t have 2,000$ on a 4090 lol.

I guess, it is easy to get used to something good and keep expecting more. But sometimes it's good to have a reality check and think about "do I really needs this" and why.
I didn't have a chance to experience FSR 3 and AMD's frame generation on RX 7000-series (which is the proper way to do it). So, I can't compare the two just yet. Because trying DLSS 3 and NVIDIA's frame generation really changed my opinion about the technology into a positive direction. Watching all those comparisons where people zoom in and pixel peep to find flaws in an image generated by those technologies made me think wrong about DLSS and FSR. You really have to experience it for yourself because everyone's perception is different. And it can't be judged pixel peeping and looking at zoomed in slowed down gameplay footage. Experiencing it is a different thing.
While FPS is important, I was also keeping an eye on the amount of VRAM being used because in my eyes, that is the main difference between the Ti version of the 4070 and the non Ti.
Bro had you got crashes on hogwards legacy? I got 2 pcs with an 4080 and 4070 super and a laptop with 4070 and with all three I had crashes just with this game

I wouldn't buy either at their Over Inflated prices - stupid to pay top whack for a Tier of GPU down - We should be getting a 70 class card on a 103 Die for the money they're asking but they give us a smaller cheaper 104 Die for 800+ (what the 60 series is usually manufactured with), so no, this Gen is all fooked up & a massive Smoke & Mirrors cash Grab from Nvidia - keep it ✌✌
i love myself i deserve this card i buy this card😂❤
Hmm i think i dont need to upg from RTX 3060, i am using 2560 x 1080 Monitor ( Ultrawide ) lets wait 5070.. hope it can be same as 4070 ti regular performance and low watt
That’s a good plan 🙂👍
What? Hope that the 5070 can get at least the 4080 performance level.
Any news about 4060ti super and 4060 super?
No!
No. It is highly unlikely that NVIDIA will launch any more new GPUs before next-gen.
bro seriously yuh r expecting 4060 ti super . 😅. just get the vannila 4070 or 4070 super . . Nvidia is done for this year .. no more launches
Bruh just buy a second hand rtx 4070. You'll be better off with it.
Nice Bro Very Amazing 🤩 Do You Like Hell drivers 2
And Yup 😅My Another Suggetion For You That Please Include The Last Of Us And Alan Wake Also Those Gamess Are Also Very GPU Demanding 😅But Yup Bro Make Like Video Recording I Mean 😜 Like Showing Monitor With Gameplay Recording With Mobile Or Something.....Thats Also Amazing Thing You Can Do😂
Thanks for checking out my videos.🤝🙂
I'm in love with Helldivers 2. It's the best co-op game I've played. Ever.🙂
I think I'll buy Alan Wake 2 later. I'm a bit short on money right now. Hence, I don't plan on buying The last of us. I don't want to play it (I've seen a full walkthrough😅) and it's not the most recent game. I want to play Alan Wake 2 tho.
For now I want to keep recording gameplay using a capture card. It allows me to show image quality better than if I were filming my monitor with a camera. Some test may call for that in the future tho.
@@theivadim Oh ....Thanks For The Replying 😜Don't Worry Purchase Those Which Are Great Full Fir You....
By The Way Banishers Have Arrived If You Interested In This Game Please Check That ....By The Way Does HellDriver 2 Is Most GPU Demanding Game ...Because You Test In 1440P It Give 80 Fps And 4K Gives 60 Fps On 4070Ti Super ....🙂Looks Like Yup It's GPU Demanding Game......Can You Tell Me One Thing If I Don't Wanna Overclocking Just Gaming Should I Go With B760 Motherboard For I5 13Th Gen / 14Th Gen And
I Wanna Build Like
Rtx 4070 Super + I5 13Th / 14Th Gen + Ddr5 6000 Mhz 32 Gb Ram + 2 Tb NvMe 2 Tb Ssd + 750 Watt PSU 80+ Gold + I Wanna Use B760 Motherboard Because It's Budget Friendly + 240 Mm Aio + Ant Esports Cabinet
@@unik0016 Yeah, I'd go with a B760 mobo for that kind of build. You have a good plan there in terms of the specs you've shared.
I've done more Helldivers 2 testing just now and it appears that the game has some interesting performance limitations. I predict that this game will remain extremely popular for years to come.
@@theivadim Thankyou Bro 😁
Native resolution or gtfo
Русский, что ли?
im just gonna go with the 4080...i just need to spend more time saving up money
damn. I really wish RUclips recommended me your channel before I got my upgrade to the Ti Super lol. At this point I'm just here to see if I might have overspent going for the Ti Super. My choices were either the Super or the Ti Super but I decided to spend significantly more for the extra VRAM though this decision was mainly caused by DD2 kicking my GPU's ass and eating its VRAM like its nothing like (RTX 3060)
also you probably dont hear this much bc people like me generally dont leave comments a lot but thank you for all the benchmarks you've done (peeked at your channel videos). if I was in the market and trying to decide which cards are worth for the resolution and games I play at, you definitely cover it. hoping you get more success in the future man, cheers!
EDIT: Finished your video by only going through the parts of common games and your conclusion. Thanks for the video, at least I can rest easy knowing I didnt overspend on the Ti Super lmao.
Another generation or so and we're gonna see them start to add 2880p benchmarks to these videos
Oh bro, I got the 4070 ti super and I could have got the 4080 for a bit more. I really want to play at 4K . My concern is I dont believe 16GB of ram was necessary for 4070 ti, because games only need 11gb at most. So far 16gb for me is useless but I want to know if I ever will see a game consume more
@sandronejm in two or three years games will use all 16gb. Textures still look great on medium And high now.
You forgot to consider that it’s impossible to get 4080 or 4090s right now they’re almost never in stock
Tbh even the 4080 super isn't enough for 4k
It's seems to a limbo card
can it play MSFS 2020 at 1440p (maybe 4k?) using the Fenix with smooth 60fps? Looking at the 4070 ti super myself. I just upgraded to the 5800x3D from a 3700x. I also don’t use any antialiasing. It either makes numbers look chunky (fxaa, dlaa) or I get ghosting and blur. I have 4k native smart tv and my system is set to 1920X1080. Jaggy as hell too. So I need 4k but don’t have 2,000$ on a 4090 lol.
30-60 fps in 4k is acceptable and very much playable. The real problem is if the game is stuttering. If not then it's all good.
this ram kit is killing the CPU performance
You know I'm picky with Graphics. But Not That Picky...Once upon a time a could go head downstairs get a quick drink go back upstairs and my computer was just about booted up.... it had a turbo switch and i could get that Tandy 1000 to 6Mhz on the "CPU"
I guess, it is easy to get used to something good and keep expecting more. But sometimes it's good to have a reality check and think about "do I really needs this" and why.
I appreciate the nostalgia trip! It's always fun to look back at how things used to be.
I've never experienced DLSS 3.5. How much of a gamechanger is it compared to FSR in your opinion?
One thing about FSR 3 that disappoints me greatly is that it is supported in very few games compared to DLSS 3. Mods don't count imo.
think framegen helps fps alot and in most cases worth enable, dont know abt afmf amd
its up to owners to prefer fps smoothness or visual fidelity
The games that use it
will i5 14600kf bottleneck a 4070 ti super?
No
While FPS is important, I was also keeping an eye on the amount of VRAM being used because in my eyes, that is the main difference between the Ti version of the 4070 and the non Ti.
are you telling us by the way yo look the game or by just reading the left side panel , ,,
the 40 series cards have little raw performance and they rely on FG but is it worth 600$+
Bro had you got crashes on hogwards legacy? I got 2 pcs with an 4080 and 4070 super and a laptop with 4070 and with all three I had crashes just with this game
I did experience crashes only when I was trying to get Ray tracing to work in this game using the 4070 SUPER. I didn't investigate this issues any further because I wasn't interested in playing the game any more.
salut les températures de la 4070ti sont incroyables ?

salut les températures de la 4070ti sont incroyables ?
how'bout mfsf 2020 which is my only interest
Unfortunately, I don't have that game. Can't check.

Most important question who not talking about this. In this models have coil whine sound in max gpu usage ??? Todays card have only one problem crazy noise of coil whine.
What case is this? Its awesome. Great vid btw
I think it may be a Cyberpower exclusive. I couldn't find it in retail stores.
They make a very similar one let me try and find it. Hyte y60. There's a couple on Amazon. I have no idea how they are but I've seen a couple sponsored clips from YTers. It looks really nice. I have a phanteks p400 and I need to upgrade it. Cpu first tho. Still rocking a 10600k with my 4070s. Good luck with the case.
