For a man to be masculine, he needs to be potentially dangerous. He is capable of being dangerous and is in complete control of his emotions. He becomes dangerous when it's necessary to protect and defend himself and those he cares for. He also does not need the permission or the approval of women or other men to be masculine.
Sounds like you are describing is a time bomb of a man. And if every man is like that, sooner or later they will all be at each other's throat. And it won't be pretty. Fighting will involve all kinds of toxic behaviors in their disposal, not just physical. They might use their narcissism, wit, money, power, influence etc. It's a destructive path.
As a woman whose husband has abandoned the family, traditional masculinity is totally required. I have to be the stoic who puts her feelings and fears on the shelf for my children. I have to be ready to get my elbows out professionally or maybe even socially. Is it going to hurt me? Probably. It'll be worth it for those who depend on me. Knowing that I have done my duty will be enough.
Your children need a man, you're not able to be both for them, you are the one abandon their well being by trying to be masculine yourself. Could there be a reason for your child father to leave you and his own blood? I am sure that you had nothing to do with him abandon you and his children, right?
One of the things I love about having grown up as a wrestler and coach is the sport teaches you how to channel your aggressions while keeping you under the auspices of older virtuous adults who have paid the price and understand what how to channel male aggression into hard work, goal setting and achievement. As well, there is always someone better than you - and you are going to meet them - and they will humble you. The wrestling community, while highly competitive and gritty, honors humility and graciousness whether winning or losing. I have known many national and world class wrestlers. Almost all of them are humble, understated individuals off the mat. They have learned to keep their "fire in the belly" under control, but man-o-man, if I were ever in a foxhole, they would be the ones I'd like to have next to me.
This channel is the real deal. Growing up I have been all of these archetypes, and its very easy to become a toxic man without discipline and morals. This might be one of the best channels on RUclips right now.
The first few guys on campus are clearly flummoxed, stressed, and uncomfortable (watch their body language). When asked for the definition, they have to answer using other vague, undefined descriptors. The most succinct, honest response was by the black guy at 1:22 - "There isn't any logic to it..." "TM" is among the wide pantheon of brilliant, genius woke phrases that manipulate people's feelings against a particular sub-group without having to justify itself.
I thought this was a great breakdown of the elements of masculinity and how they can be perversed. Like anything else, masculinity can be misused and abused. But the idea that masculinity is inherently bad is an example of the manipulation used by toxic, masculine women because they seek to inhabit the dominance of masculinity.
Aloha Roni, I resemble those remarks! ... But seriously, nice work! Delighted to find your cogent voice regarding our human shenanigans. As a seemingly lifelong agnostic, I at least try to remain circumspect about contests (in this case perhaps) boiled down to "I'M not the more toxic person! THEY'RE the more toxic person!". As such, I'd feel remiss to not express a sort of gut reaction to what it unfortunately sounds like you've had a ringside seat. In essence, I'd hope the superseding toxicity of exterminating innocent people is given its proper position among the dialectic and questioning of what is "pono" (correct, righteous) and what is our "kuleana" (relational responsibility) in the revelation of this wisdom. Looking forward to more listening of your refreshingly erudite rap. Keep up the good work, Darren

Fascinating information. Thank you for your work. Sometimes, upon honest self-examination, we need to face certain, unpleasant truths, in order to overcome them.
Hi Roni, many thanks for yet another great video! I really appreciate your insights. I'm so sorry to hear about the atrocities you and the people around you have to suffer. Watching this video I noticed a lot of parallels with certain strategies certain cultures seem to use to get girls do what they want (some I witnessed myself, other admittedly only hearsay). I guess you know what I am getting at. What do you think about making some content on the cultures there, the lover boy strategies and how they manipulate girls. I think many girls/women and families would be grateful for your insights and warnings. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Sorry lady. But I don't like this masculinity because it forces us to be a certain way and all that, I'm a feminine man, I have no interests in traditionally masculine things like fishing, hunting or sports. I'm not comforming to those norms. Protecting people was never my forte, what annnoys me that only men have to be protectors, society doesn't seem to understand that there are a lot of masculine women capable of fighting and yet it is still our job to protect people, duck that. As a feminine man I always liked barbie dolls and cute things. Maybe that's a good thing, that I grew up without a father. I don't like this alpha beta and sigma male stuff, that men have to be alpha or sigma, it's just stupid. Basically there are a few thing I agree with, and some things I don't agree with things , like porn thing, it doesn't work that much on me because i just watch one video after like 4 minutes i'm done that's enough for me and I understand that those videos are just videos and not real. Also I'm asexual, so it's impossible for me to become a porn addict, or have interest in sex with women, since I'm still attracted to women.
And you wonder why so many men seek it out. You are a walking contradiction. But that’s fine since it takes all sorts to make a universe. Just don’t presume to stand in the way of other’s development.

What do you do if you have the right attributes, but find that you aren't getting anywhere? We need women to be unambiguously clear about wanting such virtues or not...
then you have been set up to fail. Women are never ever going to be unambiguously clear. The reason is probably because it's all a IQ test. What we can do is stop it being dysfunctional
Thank you Roni, this will help me understand myself and also be a better father to my little one. I will do more of that rough and tumble play also I might engage with other children to engage that. I recently started my little one in a martial arts class and love the way those tutors engage the children. I was concerned initially my little shy lad might not get involved. Anyway reflecting on myself I think me trying to control can be destructive and always has resulted in negative consequences. I fear I am losing control even with my little one on computer games. I struggle to maintain that control and I think computer games are a curse for young boys. I believe a good male archetype is being a good father.
Not only is she misrepresentating the south American drug cartel and labeling them as brutalist 'barbarians' who are doing what they are doing because of power, illusion of control and it's part of their tactics in order for them to thrive, but she calls hamas 'terrorists' because of what happened on Oct 7, not mentioning what sequence of events lead to that day, especially with the arrival of destitute, war torn European Jews into Palestinian lands and the complex methods they took to initiate a war in the region and brutally took their lands, keep in mind I'm simplifying here but isreali methods/tactics go so much more deeper than what I've mentioned She's either deliberately or or unintentionally but ignorently spreading misinformation, I'd feel shameful if I was in here position
There is no such thing as toxic masculinity. Men cannot be virtuous unless they are a dangerous monster in some way. The key is the monster must be under complete control at all times, and cannot be ruled by emotion except in extreme situations where it aids victory. Defeat and failure are much more likely outcomes than victory for the average man.
IF I HAD TO CHOOSE IT WOULD BE THE EMPEROR AUGUSTUS, HE WAS A MORAL ETHICAL MAN IN SOME REALLY BAD COMPANY BUT NOT A BAD MAN , THAT CAME LATER , AFTER HE DIED! BUT STALIN , NO ONE ESCAPED THAT MONSTER !! SLAVIC PEOPLES ARE SLAVES FOREVER AS SLAVIC = SLAVE AND THEY HAVE BEEN MEDIECAL PEASANTS EVER SINCE !! NO HOPE WITH STALIN !! THEN CAME THE BUTHCHER OF THE UKRAINE ,NOW WHO COULD THAT BE ???? BETTER KNOW THIS , KENNEDY DID ! AND BE THANKFUL FOR JESSE HELMS !!
I am deeply offended by your historical examples of caricariaturizes certain cultures as "barbarians" based on populist history :P just kidding. Very nice to see some proper defining of this rather nebulous term. Just very bad history. For example, the Visigoths invaded Rome during the Migration Period to protect the future of their own tribe after they were pushed out from their homeland by changing weather patterns and the nomadic domino effect. They tried to negotiate with Rome but Rome being Romans treated them with racism and xenophobia until things went out of control.
@AmeliaHouck-o9j i think there is value in being able to access these dark archetypes when one must confront them. One of the most manly things one can do is have the most dark capabilities with perfect control over them. If someone tries to harm my wife and children and I can't kill them with my bare hands what good am I as a man?
This is spot on! Boy scouts, military training, sports groups, gaming comnunities etc channel the male energy and teaches the boys the rules of the group - in good or bad. Women cannot guide boys in this and hard for them to raise good men.
I GREW UP IN 1950'S AND MY MOTHER WAS CUB SCOUT LEADER AS THEY KNEW YOU CAN NEVER LET A MAN BE AROUND YOUNG BOYS ! SO SURPRISE! THEY KNEW NO MAN CAN BE AROUND YOUNG BOYS!! AND SHE DID A FINE JOB AND THEY WERE BOYS , AND NONE OF THEM GOT DIDDLED BY SOME MAN !!!
While I agree with all the things you’ve said, you lost me at not mentioning the response to the attack by Hamas. How many children & innocents have been killed proportionally to this barbaric attack? As I see it, it’s two barbarians fighting it out with one side have better weapons.
Roni, Lord of the Rings seems to embody the 4 positive main masculine archetypes. To live like Gandalf, Aragron, Hobbits, and Gimli may bring a masculine wholeness. Thoughts?
I’m sorry however a lot of this is negating the reasoning behind it. The Barbarian and Tyrant is looking at the results of actions taken not the reasons behind them also dismissing who is declaring them as such. Ghangis Khan and his Kin like Atila whose actions may appear to us now as excessive however look at what the groups they conquered had to say about how life for them improved in some aspects. This is known fact by not only the groups they ruled over as well as their adversaries like the Chinese and Western Christianity. My point is simple if you are going to look at these masculine traits from a moral high ground you cannot cherry pick what pushes a singular narrative. You have to look at it from both sides the causes and effects. Any trait be it masculine or feminine can be toxic when taken to the extreme that is what needs to be understood.
So, you may want to clarify the Joker analogy in the future, not every Joker portrayal is the same as Heath Ledger's (Agent of Chaos), Cesar Romero (Trickster) & Jack Nicholson (Mobster), even the comic books have these different tropes & one of the editors discussed it in an interview roughly 10 years ago.
You're view on the Israeli state is interesting for sure and definitely dont think you should be throwing around the word evil after your countries ongoing inhumane war tactics as well
No..... there's no such thing as toxic masculinity. There are toxic men. What you're trying to do is project. It's not about toxic masculinity its....... guys are doing things and behaving in ways we don't like, because it doesn't serve us. How do we stop it and bring them to heel? The answer is....... you don't. Don't shit on the people who make your soft easy boss babe existence possible.
GOOD AS HAVING NEANDERTHAL DNA MADE US EUROPEANS SMARTER ! SO BE GLAD FOR THAT ONE AND THEY CAN STILL BE SEEN , LOOK AT BROW BRIDGES AS EXAMPLE THAT DNA SAVED US BUT NOT THE SUB-SHARAN AFRICANS !! THEY DID NOT GET THE DNA OF NEAANTHALS !! MUCH NEEDED BUT TOO LATE FOR THEM !! HAVE TO INTERBREED WITH BETTER GENETICS !
@@poettttt !!!!!! I think you just unlocked a mystery! Wait wait! So if three rhymes with free?, and tree rhymes with free?, then Three trees must be free!!!!
Shadow work can be effective for raising awareness of masculine and feminine traits within ourselves. Men may be influenced by unconscious toxic (and positive!) feminine traits that propagate from our "anima" while the converse is also common for women via their "animus". Each of us are whole and the truths we seek are most commonly found by opening our hearts with childlike curiosity to all aspects and potentials of the one we know best: ourselves. Archetypes are a wonderful inspiration for building these "relationships". Go with courage, you are safe and you are loved.
True masculinity is not itself toxic. It is needed in this society.
It's a toxic society.

Height? Women do not care about character.
toxic capitalism versus traditional capitalism
Thank you Roni, this will help me understand myself and also be a better father to my little one. I will do more of that rough and tumble play also I might engage with other children to engage that. I recently started my little one in a martial arts class and love the way those tutors engage the children. I was concerned initially my little shy lad might not get involved. Anyway reflecting on myself I think me trying to control can be destructive and always has resulted in negative consequences. I fear I am losing control even with my little one on computer games. I struggle to maintain that control and I think computer games are a curse for young boys. I believe a good male archetype is being a good father.
There is also such a thing as Estrogen Poisoning.
Not only is she misrepresentating the south American drug cartel and labeling them as brutalist 'barbarians' who are doing what they are doing because of power, illusion of control and it's part of their tactics in order for them to thrive, but she calls hamas 'terrorists' because of what happened on Oct 7, not mentioning what sequence of events lead to that day, especially with the arrival of destitute, war torn European Jews into Palestinian lands and the complex methods they took to initiate a war in the region and brutally took their lands, keep in mind I'm simplifying here but isreali methods/tactics go so much more deeper than what I've mentioned
She's either deliberately or or unintentionally but ignorently spreading misinformation, I'd feel shameful if I was in here position
Augustus and Stalin were never overthrown. Plenty of other examples, which unfortunately only encourages tyrants.
I am deeply offended by your historical examples of caricariaturizes certain cultures as "barbarians" based on populist history :P
just kidding.
You are great as is your content
I can agree with what most of what is said here. But, I dont think Zeus is a great example. Did you know what Zeus did during his reign? 🤣🤣
How come the toxic masculine names are so much cooler than the toxic feminine names? Barbarian and Evil Genius. Sure, yeah, I'm those.
A BARBARIAN AND EVIL GENIUS , YOU SOUND INTERESTING ,NICE CHANGE !!
Vikings, mongols, etc were living up to the ethos of their culture
While I agree with all the things you’ve said, you lost me at not mentioning the response to the attack by Hamas.
How many children & innocents have been killed proportionally to this barbaric attack?
As I see it, it’s two barbarians fighting it out with one side have better weapons.
What is toxic? *Misplaced* aggression is toxic, regardless of gender etc.
I love this woman.
The patriarchy and systemic racism has the same enemy creating a tribal culture against a common enemy.
Roni, Lord of the Rings seems to embody the 4 positive main masculine archetypes. To live like Gandalf, Aragron, Hobbits, and Gimli may bring a masculine wholeness.
Thoughts?
Not sure why you sped up soone of the audio, it kinda messed with the experience listening to this one tbh.
@Ryanrobi Content creators do that so A. I. won't detect that someone elses content is being used. Copyright infringement is frivolous.
Because she has to do it to avoid a copyright claim. Use your braincells a little
You are very smart.
A woman of substance, no doubt.
Ghenghis Khan was an excellent leader, extreme meritocracy.
good and nice video..
almost complete. nice to watch and listen.
Your content is good. Please don't ruin it with AI thumbnails.
IM TOXIC, MASCULINE, I AM.
THAT IS OKAY BUBBA !! LMAO
That smile 🤗😍
There is no logic, because its a construct.
I love your content though the editing makes it hard to watch
No sound?
15:21 Brave, strong and virtuous men.
Roni, Roni Boboni
Banana Fanna Fofoni
Fe Fi Momoni
Roni!
Sorry. I was overcome by toxic masculinity.
You're view on the Israeli state is interesting for sure and definitely dont think you should be throwing around the word evil after your countries ongoing inhumane war tactics as well
I think randomly dropping f-bombs detracts from your otherwise graceful and professional atmosphere, Roni.
Totally agree. It's not needed. Such professional content otherwise.
Time stamp for swearing please.
Im all 4 yet I'm still A Good Man 😆
Nicely done. Except Stalin died in office and wasn't deposed.
On a whole different topic… is this video AI generated ? Still love the content but I might be growing paranoid
The evil genius? 😂
Well, at least I can feel a bit masculine.
I suggest you lose the AI art from the thumbnail, really puts me off.
Your previous thumbmails look so much better
No..... there's no such thing as toxic masculinity.
You didn’t even watch a second of the video, did you?
I'm the neanderthal type
Bring God into the equation and watch the confusion disappear!
.
Is God the backward spelling of Dog?
@@poettttt !!!!!! I think you just unlocked a mystery! Wait wait! So if three rhymes with free?, and tree rhymes with free?, then Three trees must be free!!!!
yes,@@davidkwong3369!
It's the parable of the Three Free Trees!
There are toxic police and toxic military personal as well as good ones.
She never said there wasn't. Luckily for us, they are the exception, not the rule
@@kirks386 she did several videos showing toxic femininity behavior
🍺
Shadow work can be effective for raising awareness of masculine and feminine traits within ourselves. Men may be influenced by unconscious toxic (and positive!) feminine traits that propagate from our "anima" while the converse is also common for women via their "animus". Each of us are whole and the truths we seek are most commonly found by opening our hearts with childlike curiosity to all aspects and potentials of the one we know best: ourselves. Archetypes are a wonderful inspiration for building these "relationships". Go with courage, you are safe and you are loved.
Go away now.
