Right there with you. He was one hell of a person, talented and funny as hell. What a loss. I’m just glad he was able to leave a legacy that will stand the test of time. I’m so proud of what he accomplished personally and professionally.
Fuckin Scott Burns man. The metal guru back then. Death, Cannibal Corpse, Sepultura. He understood what to do with it when no one else would touch the shit.
These videos are great... I met Sean while Death was promoting this album. During their “In Human” Tour they played here in Atlanta at the old Masquerade. After the gig, Chuck was busy but smiled and shook my hand in passing, however Sean stopped and spoke to me and my best friend at the time (MM). He was very polite, friendly and down to earth dude. It was a great show. Still got the shirt I bought that night. For the 15 year old version of myself, it was a very cool night in January of 1992. R.I.P. Sean Reinert
as stated, i think the "freezing" is a snapshot function on the camera. and the choppiness during the pencil fight might be a slow motion feature. remember this is 1991 it is probably a big bulky vhs camera
I would say Death, along with Morbid Angel and Deicide were prob on top of the genre in the early 90’s when Human was released... it’s almost hard to believe seeing how “normal” and goofy chuck, Sean, and Paul were.. when I first listened to Death, I figured these guys were sacrificing goats on a daily basis
Its funny, when Death Human came out in 1991, I was 11 yrs old-I used to "pencil fight' all the time then in middle school-who would have known that Death did the same thing-awesome!
When Mitch of Napalm Death calls... I was reminded of those days when people called each other and left notes and tried to set up times when they would call and so on... these days you can reach anyone anywhere any time if not by phone, by leaving a text message, of course. Although these days we end up with so many calls and messages, it gets too much sometimes.
literally every time chuck stares into the camera the video freezes on my computer...i have to click ahead to keep it going...and it only happens then.
Not true. The time keeps ticking which means Chuck's head shot was frozen in the video editing software. It looked like the video was stuck on my machine too until I looked at the timeline and noticed the time kept ticking.
Sure thing , anonymous internet nobody who clearly has no concept of music production. You're right , the original recordings of this album ( that I not only have heard but actually OWN ) sound EXACTLY like the mix in this video . The bass isn't buried at all. The trebles aren't turned up to glass shattering even a little bit. You're right.
My friend my only friend my only true friend why you left so early???????????????Why?From that time untill now i am empty!!!!!You make a big mistake on one thing.... nothing is NOT everything!😢😢😢
Was really great hearing Chuck and Browning jonesing for weed. Hopefully they scored soon after. All these Morrisound vids are great hearing because eventually, everyone is hot for pot. The Sepultura sessions they actually scored.
0:50, holy amazing, Chuck's mental powers froze the camera!
LOL Man he uses his fingers on the front to hypnotize you and manipulating the reality
Still in shock that we lost Sean last night :( R.I.P. great man

Anybody realize how clear and clean those tapes sound? Thats analoggg
Yep. And the board isn’t that great; it’s not a Neve, API, SSL or Trident.
analog 4ever
Digital is clearer.
These videos are great...

This shit puts a huge smile on my face. Good stuff. R.I.P. Chuck.

Correct. That's exactly what it is. Giant, shoulder-bound VHS camera with onboard real time video FX.
Yes my camera used to have this snapshot function too. Taking a photo in the middle of recording video. It would freeze the scene a second or so.
03:19, "Napalm??? Oh, whats up, Mitch???"... the good old days
"wait Death, i have to talk with Napalm Death"
2:00 those vocals - so clear and raw.
Very nostalgic pencil part
That just means that Chuck's presence is just too epic for the video camera to follow.
this footage is gold man, thanks.
WOWWW thanks for sharing this guys. No even in dreams I would´ve thought to see something lik this ....Thanks

3:56 pure gold XD
"Can you talk to Mitch?" "Mitch from Napalm?" Awesome!
Chuck looks so chill. Yet his music is so good I thought he would stress when writing some of it
I miss Chuck so much. Love you brother. Dang....

What a brilliant series of videos
Awesome!
Epic stuff, thanks for sharing this, history of death metal in the making.
They had no idea--HOW BIG HUMAN WOULD BE!!!!!!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!

This is a real hidden treasure !!!
Priceless
This was really cool to see. I wasn't even born for another year and a half so it's really cool to see things were like before I even existed.
-BEST ALBUM of the MILLENIUM!
Still my favourite after 20 years
awesome videos, thank you for posting those gems !!!! All Hail Chuck
thanks for sharing this great video. RIP Chuck Schuldiner.
So tragic that they buried the bass the way that they did :( sounds so good in these early bass-rich mixes
nice commentary on the pencil fight costas
And not once did they think to turn up the fucking bass.
Really nice looking audio equipment.
R.I.P
efsaneler olmez
That pencil fight was epic.
Chuck playin' pencil fight . . . Too cute l..l,
SUICIDE MACHINE!
I know at the time that they probably didn’t know how significant this video was going to be-- 30 years later now!!!! ❤️🙏🎶🇺🇸😉🥁
Wish I could jump in there and say, turn up Steve!
Thanks for posting, wherever the death is that from ? What a treasure.
History in the making...:)

6:50, oh how I would have liked to have had that pick.
Chuck's laught !!!!!
last 4 minutes.... LOL :D
i have the same problem, on every one of these videos.
computer looks like Johnny 5 Alive
literally every time chuck stares into the camera the video freezes on my computer...i have to click ahead to keep it going...and it only happens then.

If you imagine the scene of the pencil's fighting closing your eyes, you can actually see how good can be for a porn film
1991
🤘
I cant believe there is only 3 parts! Like there should be so much more!
8:48 is Mitch Harris?
wonder why they butchered the drums on the original release that sounded so loud here
5:00 joint
3:21 camaron de la isla
@seattlehawkins It was, but after that he got a hard hit of pneumonia, apparently, still so fucking unfair..
What a riff in 4:00?
What did he say at 4:49?
i dont know he just screamed something
i heard "LIE WOAHS!"
I'm going to blame that on shitty monitoring.
Why the serious F**K does the mix sound SO good there while EVERY copy of " Human" I've ever heard sounds thin and brittle ?!?!?
torgo4ever You need to play it on better speakers :P
Sure thing , genius. Never thought of that one.
+torgo4ever Mine sounds like this...

i heard that steve was also dissapointed about the mixing of human + lack of bass so he told chuck and chuck let him play whatever he wanted on ITP
holy shit is that a tape cassette? lol
@rutherk1g yuuuup
Digorggio should really dislike this video. I don''t have that authority.
He had the strangest speaking voice. That’s an accent?
My friend my only friend my only true friend why you left so early???????????????Why?From that time untill now i am empty!!!!!You make a big mistake on one thing.... nothing is NOT everything!😢😢😢
