    This is sick --- I love how you were going through your creative thought process as you were making it, the vibe/vision you wanted, and taking the articulation to the visual graphic. Dope stuff, I'm feeling inspired!

    @ 12:40, "boom look at this" how dou you do that trick? tnx

  • @ToddJohnson15
    @ToddJohnson15 2 года назад

    What is the trick to changing the color of the bag? I need to make it black. At one point I was able to do this, but it covered the label. Now I can't even remember how I made the bag black while preserving all of the shadows.

    • @ToddJohnson15
      @ToddJohnson15 2 года назад

      Since other's asked and no one answered, the solution to changing the bag color (to show a label that is smaller than the overall bag size) is to fill the entire layer containing your design with the color of your choice. At 1:20 in the video where Cody creates a new layer, just draw a rectangle over that layer and fill it with your bag color. Then paste your label in from Illustrator.

      It would be a similar process but you would need the die-line file in Adobe lllustrator to do that It's basically a flat of every surface of the packaging. This is simply a quick mock up tutorial to show the basics of designing packaging.
