  • Hey all,
    Been asked a few times how I make my Instagram slider posts. In this tutorial you'll learn in Photoshop, how to easily create a multi-image post for Instagram that is seamless, dynamic, and unique.
    Great way to showcase your photography, UI design, logos, and branding work!
    Would love to see what you've made! Tag me on Instagram @mistercodybrown and I'll share a few in my next video :D
    Hope you enjoy.

    A little tip when changing the width or height of the canvas. Instead of using a calculator, you can do maths directly in Photoshop. For example, you have 1080px and you want 4 of these you do 1080*4 and Photoshop will do the maths for you.

    There's actually an easier way to export all parts instead of cropping it and then export individually . Slice each part by using the slice tool then click File > Save for web > on the Image size panel, change the quality to bicubic sharper.

    • @mattoney4711
      @mattoney4711 3 года назад +4

      Sometimes when I do it this way, it creates a 1 pixel wide image in between ... as if I missed the slice tool by a liiiiiitle bit. I try it like five times and eventually give up. Lol. Any ideas?

      @@mattoney4711 I hope you can use slice by guides in this instance for this before exporting

      Exactly! Other option is, design everything in artboard.

    • @mathiaspfuetzner
      @mathiaspfuetzner 3 года назад

      And you produce the slices automatically. Use the slice tool - right click - seperate slices ? (Sorry I use the german version, so i don't know how they translated it)

    Another tip..you don't have to save each and every image one by one...there is an automatic way to do that in photoshop..just select the Slice tool from the crop tool section and select" slice from guides" in the top. Then go to file> export >save for web legacy. With the format changed to JPEG and all the other settings to the default, select the folder you want to save and hit save .

    in the home page of Ps, while creating a new doc,
    in the dimentions you can type *1080*x*
    where *x* is the number of frames u want
    in this way dont need a calculator!
    and instead using square to position your guides:
    view > new guides layout
    and there u are!
