How about reacting to " Jungkook Live at TSX Times Square"? He performs five songs off of his album. The performance includes the backup dancers from the "Standing Next To You " video. The notification that he would be performing went out to fans only 30 minutes before it started ( during rush hour at 5:30pm on a Thursday) and of course it was packed.
Yes Times Square! I was blown away by how big the crowd got! We heard the day before just whispers of msybe something happening the next day and I almost drove from Va to NYC to be there … I also saw that some whispers of people that were in Times Square and they were saying oh they are cleaning off a stage in a billboard .. hmmm maybe that could be it! Then a half hour before it started there was an announcement and so many awesome ARMY showed up for JK! So impressive! And HE ROCKED IT! So proud of him 💜
No argument is needed cause everyone who has worked with him said the same. One of his biggest strengths is definitely his versatility. He's a vocal chameleon that can sing any kind or genre of music. His vocals can perfectly fit any song. Even he admitted to it and said he wanted to be the only singer who could cross back and forth between K-pop and Pop. He wanted to conquer all genres. He revealed that he's also interested in doing Latin, Opera, Classical, and Musical.
I agree about JK’s versatility, which also includes rap which is why he’s a sub rapper. This is the reason he’s the lead and does the bulk of the harmonies and adlibs as well as sings the majority of the guides, even for songs for other members. He’s also the one many of them talk to when they need help with style or methods to help them. He’s for vocals what Hobi is for dance
This song and music video are amazing. The whole Golden album is amazing. Jungkook’s vocals and dancing are incredible. His talent is just immeasurable.
You may not realise, but apparently they are not just "backup dancers" they are all top choreographers. In there stage performances of Airplane pt2, Jungkook did a similar walk alone on one of the stage runway extensions. It really showed that he had grown up to be a sexy, confident man. I agree that this performance in this MV is perfect, perhaps Usher wanted a bit of it because he liked what he saw so much. Concerning the chauffeur fight scene, many people have pointed out that it was played backwards.
I absolutely love that you guys realize the total TALENT of JK especially his vocals and his dance moves! Yes, it's very masculine (a fact not lost on this lady!) 😉 😜 👍 Though I appreciated Ushers contribution to the SNTY remix, you can now see why I actually prefer this version. JK has some serious swag! And rightly so. I bought the Golden album and there's not a song on it that I'd skip. Please react to his Hate You visualizer also here on RUclips. Totally different vibe from this and 3D and Seven. Very vulnerable and relatable. Also great vocals and lyrics. Thanks again guys. Always fun to watch you! Happy New Year from Las Vegas! 🎆 🎇 ❤ 👋 😊
I was happy JK got to work with one of his idols but I much prefer this original version. From a dance perspective this was a homage to MJ and from a music video perspective, the director took inspiration from Baz Luhrmann's movie Romeo & Juliet.💜
Jungkook is really a versatile singer .. i heard many artist singing Jk songs but no one can sing effortlessly but Jungkook.. i doubt that even the members cant sing the song better..
Yes, Jungkook is the most versatile, and his vocal rang is out of this world. If you watch the doc, you'll see how the grammy award winning producers praise him on his vocals. And of course, he showed it through the 10 years of being a Main Vocalist for a very good reason! His singing live is even better than studio version! Thanks a lot guys!
I love ballroom dancing and if you want to go back do it, I totally get that masculine feeling just as he is walking just like in the competitions it's like a siren song sutil but building. Thanks for the reaction I recommend the BTS presentation at the MAMA 2019
I think it would be awesome if you watched Suchwita episodes 15 and 21 with Jungkook where he talks about his solo projects after Seven and after Golden was released respectively. It's really insightful to how hard jungkook worked to produce all these tracts and I think you would enjoy getting to know Jungkook's personality while Suga interviews him ;)
The fight scene is a callback to MJ's You Rock My World MV - there MJ and his dancers are in club dancing in back while everyone else is in front dance fighting. It's the really, really long mv with Chris Tucker and Marlon Brando.
Thanks for sharing your reaction. Yeah, the storyline has callbacks to Romeo and Juliet, and I hear elements of earth, wind, and fire, as well as The Police and a TON of MJ of course. So much to love in this one. Thanks again!
Love it!!! Yes! Go dance boys! Have fun! I just love your enthusiasm. The choreography for this song is legendary, I swear. You need to react to a live version to see it in full! For purely seeing the choreo i think the Late Show is a great option. There's also a choreography version of the mv. Or if you want more variety than reacting to the same song 3 times, you could do the Live at TSX performance. He sings several songs from Golden, including my favorite, Please Don't Change. It's a small stage, but the background dancers are there and it's a full performance. 💜
Thank you. For me, personally, I like this original better than the remix. Jung Kook is amazing. There is a reason he's been the Main Vocalist of BTS since 2013! His dancing has gotten so, so good. He's always had sharp moves and such, but it's next level and he's been experimenting with his voice on this entire Golden Album. You may want to watch the "Hate You" visualizer next. No dance in it, but it's Sooo good! The other songs don't have MV's but they are all so good, yet so unique!
The "back up" dancers, from what I have read, are all world class dancers. The "fight" scene was similar to a scene in the Michael Jackson video called "Smooth Criminal". JK joined the group BTS mainly to utilize his dancing techniques. As it turns out... he is a wonderful vocalist as well. Some say that he is the best pure vocalist of BTS. Great reaction. Take care.......
The back-up dancers include several renowned choreographers who have worked with BTS in the past, creators of some of their most iconic dances. BTS takes care of their own.
Thank you. I know exactly the part you were referring to, as he worked towards her. Everytime I see it, I half expect him to break into a Latin Dance (Mabe a Pasa Doble, or an Argentinian Tango). It just has that feel. And I love it. 💜 Mind you, Jimin's Filter (no MV, but there is Footage of it performed during their ON:E online concert) has a decided Latin feel to the choreo, at times. 💜
All four vocalists of BTS have unique voices and vocal skills. I think the reason Jungkook is the main vocalist in the group is because he is the most stable, capable of handling a variety of vocal skills, and sings songs that are universally easy to listen to.
Loved your awesome reaction and enthusiasm. Next up you can react to "Closer "and "Hate you" to see more of his versatility. Thanks guys, it was so enjoyable to watch JK with you again..
Oh boy, you played the explicit version on the way to church😂. When Army first heard the explicit I think many of us went into cardiac arrest, I know my heart monitor went off 😂.
Try checking out the official choreography version MV of this song to get the full dance version. JK created the complete look of MJ's white shirt, high water jeans and white socks.
I do agree with Jungkook being very versatile and all of the members of BTS have talked about it how he can fit into any song. There is a reason why he is the main vocalist of BTS. I think in order for him to be at the center and the main vocal of the group it’s expected of him to be very talented and be able to do just about everything. Jungkook is also know for having a perfect pitch too. (Sorry my English isn’t the best)
Next you have to react to the official dance video of this since you love dance.. it is phenomenal! Yes there is yet one more version for our viewing pleasure! Lol thank you!
You guys are great! One thing arresting about Jungkook is the masculinity that he effortless exudes in his moves and expressions. The fighting is in reverse by the way, watch it again. The MV is based on Baz Lurhman's Romeo and Juliet and yes, the choreo is a deliberate nod to MJ. Snce you like the choreo, I'd love to see you react to the Choreo MV (not the practice video). Pls pretty pls.
Love your reactions. Chase, if you love dance, pls react to JungKook's SNTY Original MV Choreography Version as it shows much more of the amazing dance moves and the homage of the song. Hottest Act on the Planet!
There's actually 2 choreographers in this mv with JK,one did the choreography to BTSs Butterfly and Jimins Serendipity. Just a bit of a side note for you😊💜( also,JK has perfect pitch )
Actually, the fight scenes is in reverse. If you watch it again you'll see dirt go from being up in the air to back down on the ground. I enjoyed your reaction. Keep on! Lol
But if anyone wants to watch an actual dancing moment where the dance resembles being backwards, search here on YT for "BTS Intro Performance trailer" 💜
That's why jeon jungkook dance, vocals is different from the whole kpop industry his energy, power class, masculinity, peoples insanly loved him and idolized him everyday and covered his songs only, b/c he is the ONLY one to do this. And i am so proud of him.
You're so excited about the dance! For all BTS videos there is always a video of clean choreography for the song. There is choreography for this song in the same set and several recordings in the practice class. Find and enjoy.
Thanks for your critiquing reaction. Enjoyable. If you get the opportunity, please react to Audacy Live where JK performs several songs off his album Golden. Then, I Heart Radio. His performance of Hate You is breathtaking. His ability to feel the emotions lyrically is just one of his greatest abilities. JK is a phenomenal singer & dancer, yet humble & grounded. Just soaring to his peak when mandatory Military Service takes him & other members out of the music world for 18 months.
You're funny, nice vibe in your reactions. Yes, reminensent of MJ, which if you talk about masculinity, it's about attitude, movement, charisma and that is what MJ had while dancing. MAybe not sticking otherwise, but in his performances he absolutely had it.
Please react to Hate You. By JK, the iheart performance. This one is a little different than the one he recorded. You must see this if you want to listen to his vocals. It is so different from his other songs. BTW I'm a 68 yr old female fan. I just love everything in this album.
Thanks for reacting to the Original MV. You guys are so fun to watch with. Always looking forward to more BTS and BTS solo reaction. I’m an ARMy 💜 first and always. 💜but I would also request you guys check out 💙SB19 💙maybe the music video I Want You or the live version on VEVO or if you like their trending video GENTO. Again Thank you. Oh, and it’s never too late to learn to dance.💜
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 There is a performance version of this song. There is also a damce practice released. Check them out, you will enjoy it. BTW, the choreographer dances in all of the mvs from this album, his name is Brian Puspos. He did Butterfly for BTS a Serendipity for Jimin.
I don't if you've alreadyseen it,but you should watch Jimin' s atheticism (there's a video about it) . He is black belt in Taekwondo and practiced Kendo for many years. Jimin often incorporated some martial arts moves into the choreography.
Am I the only one who likes original version this song way more than the Usher one like no disrespect to Usher I loved his vocals but the song just isn't well put and many great parts were cut in Usher one. U get me right
Very correct versatile in singing . Using his voice in correct technique and being effortless at the same time. Sounds clean /clear with smooth transition between the notes.
No arguments with me. 💯 facts that he is the best and most versatile vocalist in BTS. Thats why he is the main vocalist. He is pitch perfect and can match the other members range and harmonise with them all including the rappers. All the members have agreed he is the best vocalist and that he has transcended not only k-pop vocalists but most western artists as well. Many music industry critics, writers, producers are in awe of his talents and say every decade there emerges a new prince of pop. They reckon the 2020s belong to Jungkook.
Jungkook is the main singer of BTS for a reason he is the most stable voice and he can hit a note and hold it even if he is dancing very versatile. That being said V has the largest vocal range as he can go high tenor to his normal baritone that Jungkook has trouble getting into. Jin didn't know how to sing before he came into BTS so he learned from a professional how to use his voice properly so he can reach his falsetto as well as get down to his lower range easily. Jimin is known for having the smallest range of vocal but he can sing high yet not falsetto because his register is on the higher range not to mention his beautiful yodel after almost every phrase makes his voice stand out above the crowd (oops I did mention it). Then we can't forget J-Hope who has always been able to sing just used the third rapper so not often heard in BTS but he has been known by those ARMY in the know as a very good singer. There I have argued with you. :D
@xcvbi Okay and again listen to the video don't just argue with me for the sake of your love for Jungkook. Both Chase and Remington said "argue with me, argue with him" so I did. I know and stated Jungkook is the main singer that he has a very steady voice and Ill add its strong as well (as a voice), but for arguments sake I also added the strengths of the other BTS vocalists for ... Arguements Sake. This is about Jungkook OF BTS, please remember that, he never forgets.
I agree, jimin is very angelic and sings mainly in his higher register but can't perform to the extent as JK because he doesn't have the stability. JKs range is vast and vocal technique is top tier all whilst doing hard choreo.
Most of this reaction video is entertaining, but it's probably time for Rem to get past some of his insecurities. Any attempts to minimize or denigrate the dancing, sensuality, or masculinity. (Hopefully, it's not related to lame stereotypes about "k-pop" or Asians.) It takes confidence to freely acknowledge greatness whenever it's encountered and regardless of the source's identity. This is one of the top pop songs and music videos of the year. Period. Also, there's nothing 'gay' about dancing well or appreciating dance. Since all the hottest women in the world find dance sexy, exactly how the hell is excellent dancing 'gay'? 😂
Good critique at the end there. I was actually intending to talk more about his musculature being flexed the right amount to accentuate the lines of his dancing more and just forgot to say it 😂
Jimin cant do that high notes in live performances as a solo. His recording songs are full of autotune or shall i say effects in recording. He does that high notes in bts live performances with the help of Jungkooks awesome adlibs and harmonizing. Jungkook being the main vocalist and center are the highest position in the kpop world. The Golden Maknae himself is a genius singer and can sing in all genres. Good at everything hes known also. Jungkook is just soo humble but he can hit high notes perfectly in live performances. The 6 other members know that JK is their Ace and the Kpop Ace.

Jungkook is a vocal chameleon - he can do whatever he wants with his voice. His lower register is amazing too!
Jungkooks golden album is amazing! My favorite song off this album doesn’t have a music video but it’s called to sad to dance!

BTW - he pronounces his name Jim-in. Not Jee-min. Cute reaction. Thanks guys.

No contest there …Jk is the best vocalist..
Jungkook did a remix off this song whd Usher
They reacted to the remix first, and they even mentioned it at the start of the video
Please do a reaction to Audacy Live Jung Kook! It’s an amazing video!
Please react to Jung Kook’s Hate You. It is also off of Golden. His voice was more amazing if that is even possible.
they already did
Jungkook is the main vocalist of bts for a reason. Compare Jimin with Jungkook singing abilities is ridicolous.
I was actually intending to talk more about his musculature being flexed the right amount to accentuate the lines of his dancing more and just forgot to say it 😂
@@laurenm.6320 On the other hand, Chase appears secure about his masculinity and sexuality.
Jungkook is the most talented member in BTS
You guys talk & pause too much!!!
Pausing and talking is literally what reaction videos are for? 👀😅😂
@@amandabridget8706 Not all of them, I watch a lot of reactors & the ones who talks too much are the ones who feel they are experts & feel the need to analyze everything🙄🥱. I do retrurn to their channels if their reacting to one of my bias, but if they continue to still pause & talk too much, I leave🙂
@@GloryB-xv4ro Bye then. 👋 Have fun with reactors who have nothing to add I guess. Seems like a waste of time, but if that's what you like...
@@amandabridget8706 The reactors I watch also pause & analyze but not excessively..they are enjoyable to watch👍Some reactors just love to hear themselves talk is my point😊
