I’m a millennial and I grew up on vh1 and mtv documentaries/music videos of Michael. My mom is a baby boomer who is the biggest MJ fan. Like you, I saw all the moves, too!! I appreciate that this wasn’t a blatant “Mj” video but rather a kookie video that gives MJ vibes. Also, close your eyes when he sings the first line- it’s literally Michael ❤

I am sure MJ had a big influence on them. In fact there is a documentary from the Jacksons and they talk about BTS and how they use a lot of MJ's moves. Nobody can be MJ, but JK in this song particularly, is using moves reminiscent of MJ. When he sings "Play me slow", listen carefully. Every reactor I have listened to has also referencing this.

I am a big fan of MJ too and right at the start I got the vibe and I’m so happy that Jk did this, even his voice and tone I felt that MJ soul collaborated with him. He would be proud. He inspired so many people and young artist. I learned how to dance because of MJ. JK is awesome and this was perfect!
The way you reacted to this song was exactly how I reacted too! MJ everywhere!! Notice how he's against the wall at first then he notices the girl and he starts walking after her with his boys behind him just like MJ's The Way You Make Me Feel mv!! Not to mention all the MJ dance moves and way of singing too! I grew up listening to MJ (I'm a 77' baby).....My favorite song now!!!

BTS paid the Jackson Estate to use Michael’s moves in Dynamite and I presume moving forward - this is a bonafide tribute to the King of Pop. I think Michael would have loved our JK and BTS💜
It's the Latin dance walk he did it in Airplane 2 at the award show and did a proper Latin dance move along the stage he's very good at it. I've often wonder if he had Latin ballroom dance lessons. At my old church our worship Leader was a National Latin Dance champion here in the UK and he would he gave us many demonstrations. So me seeing JK walking like that just makes me smile as it reminds me of him.

You know what I also really love? We all know BTS and HYBE don't verbally involve themselves in political debates. What they do is much more subtle, impactful and amazing: they involve the people directly. No loud message, no statement, just give them an opportunity to work together to showcase their talents. That's how they show their support, by just doing it without much fanfare. I love that so much 💜

I had the same reaction. :D From the open mouth the whole time to the stinky face, to the screaming regarding MJ references - it's pure perfection. I did not expect THAT. The limos from the beginning and the first scenes reminded me of some of the vibes of "Who is it", and then the fighting scenes and on top of that some Black Swan choreo references & the DNA 😭 Pure joy!

I always love your reactions, but this one has got to be at the top. Your shock and appreciation of what you were witnessing - priceless. As a director, did you also pick up the Romeo & Juliet theme - not necessarily to the ending of the play/movie - but beautifully overlay of scenes and images from the 1999 movie. I would love to see the storyboard for this video. I think there is even a double overlay of the R&J theme within it. Masterpiece and JK killed it.

I found the first part is like the Way You Make Me Feel then by the 2nd part It’s leaning towards You Rock My World.. the groove the beat.. the fight scene with dancing (so MJ) and I think there’re references to Romeo and Juliet.. two families fighting and against the union of the two.
