Is there a video how to replace a horn switch? Or to make it easier to replace the whole steering wheel?

I have a 97 jeep tj that has 2 factory horns, the fuse box under the hood holds a 20amp fuse for those horns, it did not have the fuse in it when I bought the jeep. When I put a fuse in, the horn went beeped and then the fuse busted. So then I disconnected the wires to the horns and put in a 30amp fuse the fuse and relay got really hot so I took the fuse out I haven't a clue what it might be.. any ideas?

Sound like your wiring is grounded

Take the relay out see if the fuse blows

I watched this video because my horn beeps when I turn the steering wheel on my 01 JGC Laredo. It does this randomly and my horn doesn’t beep when I push it if needed while driving. Strange?
I can’t seem to find any videos on this topic either…

@@ludycastaneda9828 I pulled out the fuse for the horn and wired in two cheap horns I got on eBay with a toggle switch and problem solved.

@@ludycastaneda9828 I’m not sure if I posted this earlier but I had to remove the fuse for the horn because I couldn’t buy a click-spring on this island to save my life.
So I bought two of these $9 train horns on eBay and added a inline fuse and a toggle switch that took me like an hour to install and mounted the toggle switch to the drivers side of the center consul by my right knee and that worked great for both, my wife and me. Plus it was much easier to use also. I also used 14ga awg zipwire that I had laying around in my Ham shack. Pretty easy job! I hope this helps. 🤙🏻
