Use JWS3324 or WS spec fluid. The best fluids to use are Aisin Type WS, Volvo pn31256775, and Toyota ATF WS. Stay away from the univerasal fluids. WS is a low viscosity fluid specifically made to work with this trans. It's best to use a scan tool to get the temp between 70-80c or 158-176F. The fluid should just start trickling out the center drain at that temp. There are alot of Volvo vids showing the process for the Aisin TF80SC AF40
I watched this video because my horn beeps when I turn the steering wheel on my 01 JGC Laredo. It does this randomly and my horn doesn’t beep when I push it if needed while driving. Strange? I can’t seem to find any videos on this topic either…
@@ludycastaneda9828 I’m not sure if I posted this earlier but I had to remove the fuse for the horn because I couldn’t buy a click-spring on this island to save my life. So I bought two of these $9 train horns on eBay and added a inline fuse and a toggle switch that took me like an hour to install and mounted the toggle switch to the drivers side of the center consul by my right knee and that worked great for both, my wife and me. Plus it was much easier to use also. I also used 14ga awg zipwire that I had laying around in my Ham shack. Pretty easy job! I hope this helps. 🤙🏻
Awesome video! What fluid part number did you use to refills the transmission? Aw-1 or the 10-4062? Please let me know … dealer sells a quart for $40 insane…
Wow it's hard to get any service info on the 2011 Buick regal at all! My wife inherited one from her mom who passed away in 2020, I'm the DIY mechanic who would like to keep it running for her. I've seen this procedure and drain tube for another vehicle, but on that one there is even more to the procedure, like checking the level at a very specific temperature (certainly operating temperature), or else! Is that verbiage included for this vehicle, at least in factory manual references?
Thank you for this video! I have a 2013 Regal GS. This is the first car I have owned that doesn't have a trans dip stick. Like others have said, there is not a lot of information out there for Buicks with the Aisin Warner trans...and a good portion of what is out there is not accurate. People mean well and want to share information to help others but when they have been misinformed they are unknowingly giving bad advice.
I have a 97 jeep tj that has 2 factory horns, the fuse box under the hood holds a 20amp fuse for those horns, it did not have the fuse in it when I bought the jeep. When I put a fuse in, the horn went beeped and then the fuse busted. So then I disconnected the wires to the horns and put in a 30amp fuse the fuse and relay got really hot so I took the fuse out I haven't a clue what it might be.. any ideas?
3:25 The automatic transmission in the 2011 Buick Regal Turbo is the Aisin AF40 6-speed. The non-turbo models have the Hydramatic 6T45 6-speed. A 6-speed manual transmission was available optionally on the turbo models only.
What tool to get off drain plug I have same transmission and to get to fill on top looks like that part connected to the battery needs removed to access fill plug
How many quarts did you end up needing?
Three

Sound like your wiring is grounded
Take the relay out see if the fuse blows
Did you made any more vídeos of this machine?
Not yet
Might that car be a Canadian model?
Greatly appreciate the information
Is it the same for a 2016 buick regal turbo? Can't find a video for that

Omg!!! Thank you so much Scott! I have been trying to figure this out for so long and no one had the right trans information
I wonder if the manual transmission is different for the gs.
