Absolutely love sweater 23 on you! Looks so wearable and a staple addition! I need a few pieces like that. You Kerr is stunning 😍 I really like the tweed and matching CC idea!!
Thanks Karoline! Loved hearing about the projects that may not work out. I’m thinking about what to do with a couple of projects too. My ears perked up when you talked about broken rib stitch not being the best fit for the yarn selected. It seems like I can have a pattern I really love and a yarn but they don’t make a great match together. Do I hesitate to frog because I’m not thrilled with what’s developing or because I already put the time in…. In the end, if I don’t like it, I won’t wear it. The pattern and yarn deserve better, so do I. 😊 I guess it’s never a waste if we learn something about ourselves or our materials.
You’re so right! Sometimes it’s easy to push through because you’ve already put in the work but I think it’s important to ask yourself if it’s the right project ❤️
I really enjoy watching your podcasts as you are very chilled out and always show lovely designs. Love your choice of yarns for your current projects and the pattern for Sweater No 18. I've had a break from knitting but have some stripy socks waiting to be started on tiny circular needles... it will be a first. I'm not sure how fiddly it's going to be but am going to give it a go!
Working with woolly knit held double off 2 cones and am loving cool weather knitting. I hope you time away was restorative. Your Kerr looks so polished. Be well!
Thank you for a nice podcast. I’m currently working on a testknit perfect little cardigan by Pia Fiftyfabulous. I have decided not to testknit so much in 2023. I’m joining your Channel from Djursland in Denmark.
Your Kerr sweater is coming out so nicely! And your sock saga is going strong 💪 I've finally finished my 90% purling sock in Oct, I think I'll need a little bit of a break before I try another sock 😆
Im a new viewer. I watched the wedding episode and this one. I love the colors you chose for Rebecca’s Kerr sweater! I can imagine catching your floats every 2 stitches for a children’s sweater would be helpful so they don’t catch their fingers in the larger floats. Your dog is very sweet. I love the yarn you got for your next test knit!!! It’s beautiful. 💗
Tak for dig og din podcast. Det er altid dejligt at se med og følge dit strikkeliv. Dit teststrik med mønster er utroligt smukt og garnet passer perfekt dertil. God tur.
I hope your trip is (or was) peaceful and relaxing. I often think it's more fun to plan out the knitting I'm going to take (rather than the vacation itself) because I do look forward to those quiet, uninterrupted knitting moments. Sometimes you actually get them!
Tak for endnu en dejlig podcast. Er vild med din rolige tilstedeværelse. Og tak for at dele at du kæmper lidt - samme her. Det letter med åbenhed. Jeg håber, du kommer godt igennem det ❤
If you search how to fix brioche there are some really good tutorials that make it easy to fix mistakes or pick up dropped stitches so you don't have to rip out
Thanks for another fabulous episode. I’m in love with your sweater no 23, what a stunning yarn combination ❤️ For a dk weight (lace + fingering) slipover, I’d really recommend the Amy slipover from Sandnes Garn from Mykt Til Dame. It’s the only slipover I’ve made so not a super well balanced opinion 😂 but I do love mine and wear it way more than I expected.
Your Kerr Sweater is wonderful, love the choise color. Also love your sweater no 18, those ywo strands together are creating such a beautiful fabric and the color suits you so nice. I am also making seeater no 18 for my son but I don't like the yarn I choosed for this project, I am using KOS by sandnesgarn, it is a soft yarn however I don't enjoy knitting with this yarn, it get stuck on my fingers skin, my nails, just not my fav and also I am afraid the fabric will grow both on washing and wearing.
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment 😊 A long time ago I knitted with Kos (it’ll probably be in a very early episode!) and just like you I really didn’t enjoy the knitting experience - it felt like plastic to me. But the final product has actually worn surprisingly well so hopefully it’ll be worth the effort. You have a very lucky son!
It depends! Most of mine are in Danish and it works quite differently I’d say. When I first started testknitting in Danish I used to apply but for my Danish ones I tend to be asked now, including the two I talk about in this video. For Rebecca’s testknit, I applied just like everyone else by keeping an eye on her Instagram😊
I cant say I like h your lighting because your glasses are constantly reflecting green light back at us the viewer. It’s quite distracting so im not watching and just listening
The test is looking stunning
Thank you ❤️

Good luck with the tiny circular needles! I know many that love them

Oh my god that’s too much purling 🫣
Just found you ! Loved your video. Your knits are beautiful. You’ve given me the inspiration to try colourworks. Looking forward to your next video. ❤
You should! It’s a lot of fun (even if a bit slow)
Hello! I really like your sharing of issues while knitting. I learn something every time 👏👏 the trip north sounds so peaceful and amazing. Enjoy!
Thank you Julie, it’s lovely to hear it’s helpful 🥰
Your doggo lady is sooooo lovely 🌹 I adore the color work of the testing of the yarn cone it's so beautiful
Thank you ❤️
Hi Karoline, lovely video, really enjoyed it. Fayla (did I spell that right?) is even more beautiful that when she was a pup.
You did!!! Thank you ❤️

Tusind tak Helle, sikke en skøn kommentar ❤️
“It’s not a strip club, even though it sounds like it” this made me laugh so much! Really enjoyed your podcast. The önling looks lovely 😍
I’m glad it was funny, my colleagues certainly found it funny 😂😂😂

Hi from Denmark 👋 found your channel though Laura's and Sophie's channels

I did but it just wasn’t right - and still wouldn’t fix the gauge problem!
Hi Karoline! I enjoyed your podcast. I’m currently knitting Queen Lucy’s Fingerless Mitts (with beads, a first for me) for a gift knit.
What a lucky recipient 😍
Love your podcast! I’m working on the sleeves of my Dartmoor sweater after being influenced by Laura ❤
It is a stunning sweater!!!

Ooooh I’ve seen that one before, it is lovely! And definitely an option

Great video. It sounds like you do a lot of test knits. I'd love to know how you get selected for them.

ALSO we live near London so you can come and see meeeeeee (no pressure haha)
I’d love to come see you 🥹
I love your calm podcast. Beautiful lipstick btw 🥰
Thank you ❤️ I always spend way too much time deciding what lipstick to wear for episodes 😂
@@KarolinesKnits i have the same problem 😉 too many lipsticks for only one lips 😉 I have podcast "with lipstick and yarn" but in polish language 🙂
Nej, nej, nej hvor er Fayla bare sød 🥹 så sød og artig (ser det ud til 😅) og godt afsnit også self 😂
Artig efter at have løbet VILDT i 1,5 time 😂
What a lovely dog 🐕
Thank you! I am biased but I do think she’s wonderful
