When doctors don't know... they should admit they're not gods, and just tell us. My little cousin went back and forth through the most esteemed medical systems in the "south"... They either told her her problems with walking and standing were in her head, (to which she at 14yrs old said, "It's not in my head, it's in my legs!) or that they couldn't find the issue. The issue was right in front of them. Thankfully her family's insurance company allowed her to go outside of their network into New York, and the doctors there were saddened that the doctors here didn't read the 700 articles they'd published in medical journals JUST that year alone. Her disorder is also more common than thought, but of course if doctors don't recognize it, the reporting is skewed. Turns out her mother along with Google were right! She had suffered with Chiari Malformation since birth, and no one here caught it. No one thought of it. Neurologists, orthopedics, and other specialists.
As much as I don't condone how it is run but at the end of the day, it is a business and some of them are given a quota to reach. That means more visits for the patients equals profit.

Yeah... I hate that too... just give me the results over the phone.. I've signed away my privacy at every doctor anyhow.. LOL@@OorieLynch
