@@developedfault if you don’t get the transcoder options for your viewers you will be missing out on those viewers with weaker connections that can’t run these higher resolutions and move on to another stream For myself 7250 to 7.500 Bitrate used to work the most reliable for getting all transcoding options. You should test around for yourself
@@PenguinxMedia honestly my personal phones use low quality signal, other people that have more common brand names say they don't have this issue. if you have viewers that are mainly cell phone users ask them if it's possible to connect to Wi-Fi to help fix their lag. other than that, it seems to have gotten better since I just reached twitch affiliate after all these years. best of luck to you.
My understanding is that if you output to 8k, Twitch may remove transcoding options for viewers which will make it tough, if not impossible, to watch your stream if they have crappy internet or on a mobile device. This is at Twitch’s discretion. Some testing has shown dropping it down to 7500-7750 can improve your odds, but it is still a gamble.
every 10 minutes in obs the bitrate drops to 0 and a reconnection occurs, only on twitch, there is no such thing on RUclips, although the Internet is normal
Hello I need your advice. I have a cpu 5700g, when I turn on obs, I have about 20 percent worse results in games and benchmarks. Only with obs turned on no scenes no recording no streaming. I have a freshly installed system.
My games seem to be in slow motion. It's very very minor but noticeable. I'm streaming a digital ps4 game on ps5. I have a 4090 and i9 13900k, 64 gb of ram and an m.2 ssd if that helps
Just had my first steam today and was noticing it was lagging. Added all of these settings and I'm excited to try them out on my next stream! Thank you so much for sharing this video!
I am facing the problem of mic lag in stream sometimes my mic voice doesn’t reach my audience moreover mic voice only lags not the full stream pls help ( net speed 300mbs ) using obs and laptop setup with headphone mic
For some reason when i have my setting on advanced then my stream wont share screen but the screen on obs is sharing please someone that know about this problem help me!! :(
Everything was fine i was streaming with 2k resoliution after windows renistall i got lag with 2k and 27000 bitrate. Even with 8k bitrate on full hd. Change youtube server to rtmp and with full hd lag gone but still cant stream with 2k Cpu ryzen 7 5800x Gpu 4070ti My internet 500mbps upload
Can you make a whole video on best setting streaming twitch through obs ? My upload speed is 50mbps but not sure if twitch limited bitrate to 6000kbps only? When I’m not moving in game, it has a crisp quality but when i’m moving in game(APEX) it turns into puzzle pieces 🫣🤔
8000 Kbps seems pretty damn high - especially if you're not even specifying at what resolution to stream at. If somebody is e.g. streaming at 60fps 720p ~4500 Kbps is perfectly fine. (help.twitch.tv/s/article/broadcast-guidelines#recommended)
As I'm preparing to go live. This would help a lot. Thanks
Bro was moving so fast in this I saw my life flash before my eyes
Thank you! Perfect timing what Graphics card do you have?
thank you su much this really helpd
8k bitrate has a high chance at least non affiliated for your stream don’t have any transcoding options or even showing your stream online at all
8k is so bad?
@@developedfaultit's too high

stream looks great on my end and on pc, cell phone viewers are where the problem is. I'll probably end up going down to 720p 60 fps eventually.
