How hot is the laptop getting? I have a lenovo ideapad gaming 3 with a ryzen 5. When I first bought it it was heating up like crazy when gaming, temperature was hitting 100°C, which it should not, the CPU should thermal throttle at this point. Turns out that there is some aggressive boost setting that was turned on that did not allow the CPU to thermal throttle, which caused the PC to be extremely hot. Your laptop is more than enough for gaming + streaming. Maybe you should look into that setting

Hi! I’m new to ALL of this. My MacBook gets so hot whenever I start streaming. I have a MacBook Pro with intel i7. I think I should adjust the CPU settings, but I’m still sort of confused on which settings I should use considering I have an intel i7 especially since it seems like it’s sooo opposite? Could you tell me exactly which CPU you have and how much ram you have? Also, if the laptop gets soo hot, maybe it's time to have it cleaned, clogged fan vents (if it has fan vents) could mean that the CPU doesn't get enough cooling and thus gets hot and to protect itself, it thermal throttles making it slower and perform worse. A quick cleaning and changing of thermal paste combined with a laptop fan stand (the ones you put the laptop on with a fan underneath the laptop to cool it) could go a long way into restoring the life for your laptop.

@@FoxyRUclipsGamer Not trying to sound like a smart ass but wouldn't it help in a tutorial video to specify that? The difference between x264 and H.264, what they do and how they're different.
Hey @FoxyRUclipsGamer can you help me? I still am pretty lost. My mbps is 12.24, so i got 12,000 bitrate per your chart. So I should be able to stream even in 4k but i can't even stream in 720? what am i doin wrong? I'm lost.
@dougunfunnie9630 you see my friend, this tutorial was made with slow Internet speeds in mind (below 5mbps). When you applied the same logic on your internet (which is not slow), it was simply to much bits. You see, bitrate affects both PC performance and the person watching will need to have a fast internet if you set it too high. Anyways. Here's what you should do. Stream at 720p 60fps and use 3500bits. If it works perfectly, you can try 1080p 60fps with 4500 bits. If that also works good. Try 1080p 60fps with 6000bits. Which should be good enough for a high quality stream and should leave your internet not strained. Let me know how it goes buddy!
Could you please make a detailed video on the best audacity settings and your progress how you upload to get good sound? Cause i‘ve been really struggling to get good sound on RUclips and nothing helps
Just set the maximum bitrate available in the table in the video. but keep in mind, if you are streaming to a website where they do not offer the viewers lower qualities, viewers with slow internet will not be able to watch your stream. So, as a general rule of thumb. Set it to 3000 bitrate and to 1080p or 720p
you have to calculate for games too, when u but max bit rate on your stream lets say 800br/s , your game will be laggy as hell. with 200/300 latency qus you give all the upload speed to obs.
That is true, but when you have an internet as slow as mine, you kinda should not push your luck and either have your games using your phone's data or play offline games
I don't understand the signal strength. I have the fastest Internet option available. 1GB Down and 25bps Up. The signal strength will be green at 6500 Kbps and then drop into the red with the same bitrate and then go up to green at 4500 Kbps and then dip down into 1 bar red at 6700 Kbps. I'm not even outputting the highest settings either. I'm outputting mid settings
A very sharp quality, but your viewers won't be able to watch smoothly unless their internet has a download speed of 53.51 or higher. Stick with 8000 bitrate at 1080p 60fps or 720p 60fos with 3500 bitrate
Please upvote so people properly understand and have the correct settings. Using VBR due to poor internet can work but setting Max Bitrate to the highest speed your net can go will not just magically fix you going over your internet cap. It just doesn't work that way. Find out your max speed, then, find what 60% of your max speed is and entering THAT value into Max Bitrate will keep you under the internet cap you have. Example: Top Net Upload Speed is .74MBPS. In kilobytes that's 740. 60% of 740 is 444. 444 should be the Max bitrate. While the Bitrate would be set a bit higher around 555-629, around 75-85% of your max net speed. Max bitrate also spikes up and down so by setting it to the max speed you're not preventing anything, it needs to be about 60% below the max net speed so the spikes don't send you over the net speed limit. THAT is how you use VBR to prevent going over your net speed cap or to prevent you going over data usage with a bit more of a drastic percentage, if that's your goal.
@@FoxyRUclipsGamer It's not the creative way, it's the way it should be used for avoiding going over net speed cap. Now if it's just for quality image control and not because of net speed exceeding, that's a whole different thing and should be done the way that you showed.

@CrazyGamer-tm2jj You're welcome! By bandwidth, I meant Internet speed, I kinda use the two words interchangeably. And yeah, the stream is not going to be 100% on time. There will be a delay. There is actually a delay option on OBS where you can choose how much of a delay you want. @CrazyGamer-tm2jj To terminate the stream, you just click stop streaming. As for the monitor, absolutely, you don't even need two monitors, one will do!
