Responding to the accusations, Marc Marquez immediately issued a firm statement. He firmly denied any form of cheating and emphasized that his entire Gresini Ducati team always obeyed the rules. In his statement, Marquez expressed his surprise and stated that it was unfair if his career and achievements were tarnished by unproven accusations.
“The accusations are baseless and have seriously damaged my reputation as a professional racer. I have always competed honestly and followed the rules. If Dorna wants to investigate, we are open to fully cooperating. I never intended to win through illegal means,” Marquez said emotionally.
