Dogs are amazing ❤. I had a random dog run away from her owner. She ran up to me and jumped on me one night at 11pm. She then ran away. She was alerting me that I was pregnant😮 I found out a few days later at a doctors appointment. Then about four years ago another random pup ran to me getting away from his owner about 200 feet away. I was not feeling well and was getting back from the ER. Ends up I started a journey of declining health. After many hospital visits and no one could diagnose anything i recently was told i had a pancreatic mass. That beautiful pup was warning me something was not right! Always trust your instinct and your dog or a strangers dog!

So precious. She knew her soul mate. It touched my heart and made me remember our cocker, Ebony. We got her at 4 weeks old when we lived in Spain, she went camping with us, and when we came home, peiplsaid "you're really going to waste money flying a blamed dog to the states? Just turn her loose in Madrid ". She was our baby, and she came home with us. She's been gone fir 30 years, and I think of her every day. Her ashes are on our mantel. Your precious Ellie makes me think of Eb.

Not ashamed to say I'm bawling my eyes out 😢😢 I lost my beautiful Maggie in August 2022 at age 12 and a half. Your video is everything I ever wanted to do with Maggie and never did. She was a rescue at 10 months but I always say who rescued who. Beautiful video 😊

I've been divorced now for 8 years. As a retired musician the only two things I demanded was my instruments and my beagle Bouba (Boobah). He passed three years ago, but I think of him daily and all of the good times we shared. I hope Ellie and you have many good years of hanging out together. Peace.

I had to watch the video again!! From the minute you agreed to bring her with you, she knew she wanted to be and would be a part of your family!!l I miss my dog that I rescued from a puppy mill of 300+ American Eskimos. The vet guessed him to be between 2 & 5 when I got him in 2002. I had to put him down suddenly and very unexpectedly 3 years ago I was told on a Friday he had cancer, over the weekend he had more than 15 seizures….I called the vet on Monday morning, and said goodbye Monday afternoon. I am forever grateful for the years I had with him…..I named him Tekaani (pronounced Taconnie), it is Eskimo for wolf.
That’s so tough when we lose dogs like that, but you’re right, the time we spend with them is what matters. 🙏🏽

I didn’t realize that you and Ellie haven’t been together since she was 8 weeks old….where is the love option for this video?! I was hoping you would do a video about how she came to be your friend. Such an awesome story! I love how she just flopped on her back in the water! She knew you wouldn’t let her get hurt. I was crying from the beginning! I thought this was gonna go another way and you had to return her. 😢 then i started thinking about my Ellie and how, when I got her from a high kill shelter, she was so scared and didn’t trust anyone. 3 years later, she’s a happy, pencil eating, water bottle stealing bed hog and I thank God every day that we found each other, and that your Ellie found you! 😊

Jack , This stole my heart ♥ when Ellie didn't want to get out the car it hurt my soul , but I knew it ended good because you had Ellie. Dogs definitely change your life mine has passed 10 months now and my heart ♥ hurts for her everyday. I had her 12 years and 4 months , and I must say a part of me went with her when she went over the rainbow 🌈 Bridge. The time went by so fast . So love Ellie as much as you can. 3:55 she'll have a good story to tell her grandkids. She's going to be like I remember when I was just a puppy. I went camping for the first time. It was me against mother nature and mother nature almost won. And my best friend and hero rescued me if it wouldn't have been for him. I wouldn't have been here right now to tell you this story. we went on wonderful trips. they had a little baby I loved her so much we went on many trips together.
