I realize this is suppose to be a messy style, but it turned out terrible. If I took the time to curl my whole head and it turned out like this, I would be more than disappointed. It looks dry, teased and unfurled

looks dry mainly because its mannequin hair and the hair on a mannequin is super course and dry. its super hard to get a more soft look just because the texture of the mannequin is super rough. and another thing with mannequins is that some of them dont curl properly so they just fall out or look like kinda gross and messy which is super annoying especially for those wanting to learn

The cut is ok, but the way it was styled looks terrible. I know some mannequins have low quality hair that's hard to style, that could be the problem.
