Back in the 70s, we used to reference to “wispy” layers as “feathering”. We’d say, “I want my hair feathered.” I always thought I looked best with a bit of “feathering”, and I’m so glad it’s back in style!
@@pattymk9234 Me too! My hair is more on the coarse/thick side and the feathering used to help with easier styling. But my stylist doesn’t want to give me those layers bc she said it’s too “70s” looking lol. I have to try and convince her 😉

Such a tried and true classic haircut! You demonstrated it perfectly! So many hairdressers were not taught this in todays beauty schools, and it is truly a lost art. Today we are mostly left with un-even,very heavy areas left around the face and very unhappy customers that are constantly looking for a new hairdresser Thank you! I'm still in the the market for one in the my Picayune Ms area that also doesn't charge an arm and leg but still can deliver a fantastic classic haircut!

Summer, I would love to see this same cut but in a much shorter version for a summer cut, like in a shoulder grazing or even above the shoulder cut!

Thank you! I'm a big Moroccan Oil gal, love their Strong Hair Spray. I also love Loreals Tecni art Infinium Sprays, both 3 & 4 are great. A lot of people love Kristin Ess Hairspray and she has a great price point as well
