    ** NEW PAID OVERCLOCKS** DEC 8th Update: With the new paid overclocks you will need to take the side panels off your KS0 Pro and add a fan to cool it to use them and you are looking at a max 280GH not 360 at the moment. I'm working on a video about this now and would wait to watch it before thinking of purchasing them.The paid overclocks aren't as simple as the free overclocks were for the KSO with a power supply upgrade flash it and away you go unfortunately.

    "UPDATE" as I mentioned in a comment below I just added all the pool stratum addresses for K1 Pool in the description below the VIDEO so you can cut and paste directly into your miner dashboard, along with the very basic written steps that include extra links to a couple IP Scanners I mentioned in the VIDEO to help with your setup. Hope this helps and if you have any questions please ask.

      It's easy as pie follow the same steps and scan your home network like you did with the first one... and the second miner will show up on your home network with a different IP Address than the first. Put the IP for the second miner in your taskbar press enter and log in to the second miner. Set it up with all the same pool information as the first with the only difference after your wallet address or pool user name depending on the pool you chose put say... as just an example bgdi80n78hghgshgf.ksopro02 that's it and it will show up in the mining pool along with your first miner.

      To be honest it's just a habit. Some mining pools with certain miners "very few"you need a password and 99.9% of them you don't and its your choice if you chose to add one or not, which I usually say in my videos but I may not have mentioned it in this one.

    • @miningwithunclechuck
      @miningwithunclechuck  4 месяца назад

      Your K1 pool fees are typically 1% paid.The referral code gives you a discount on your first month of fees and to be honest I can't seem to see that on the pool where they actually mention that so I messaged support. As far as your miner name make sure you put under where it says Wallet/Worker in the dashboard of your miner, put your K1 pool account ID and something like this just made up of course. KrTCFLlBTRGYTR.asic
      Replace ASIC in my example with your miner name of choice and it should pop up in the dashboard of K1 Pool.

    • @miningwithunclechuck
      @miningwithunclechuck  2 месяца назад

      You could put a backup pool stratum address in your miner dashboard for another pool in case there is an issue with your main pool, and it will switch to your second pool choice in the dashboard of your miner if you set it up that way. You have the ability to have three different pool stratums but I recommend sticking with one main pool and entering a second stratum address option for your main pool if available. For example your pool might have an East,West or EU stratum option of which you should choose the stratum address closest to your location and the others as backups 2 and 3 in your miner dashboard but you don't have to.

    i live in a dorm and while i have wifi access, it seems the ks0 pro doesnt support wifi !
    the wifi router is in a different room, and i am planning to put the ks0 pros in my room, is there is a way to get those miners online using a secondary router/access point/bridge or whatever ?? how to get them online when they dont have wifi built in and the main router is far away from them ?? am sure there is a solution just what is it ?!...
    thank,

    • @miningwithunclechuck
      @miningwithunclechuck  6 месяцев назад

      If you could get access to the router in the other room and connect a wifi extender to it, then put the extender in your dorm room, as most extenders will have an ethernet port on the back. Then you could plug the miner into that. I know that works as I did that in my basement when I had a miner at home. There might be another way just telling you what I did that worked for me.

      Your computer is only needed to log into the dashboard of the KS0 Pro and get it setup for the first time with getting it connected to a mining pool, after that your computer is not needed unless you need to re login to the dashboard of your miner again to make changes or check operating function such as temps as example.

    What these videos fail to clarify is if you mine Kaspa via a pool, the UTXO's are overwhelming and you can only transfer like $20 at a time because Kaspa is limited to 80 UTXO's or so. How do you get around this? I couldn't swap $100 worth because of too many UTXO's. Kinda defeats the purpose and the profit. Anyone find a way around this?

    • @miningwithunclechuck
      @miningwithunclechuck  Месяц назад

      Not sure your problem to be honest. As an example.... if you mine Kaspa using the mining pool ViaBtc you can transfer your daily mining rewards to CoinEx for zero fees and swap in CoinEx to pretty much any crypto you want. Once in CoinEx you will incur a small fee which is normal on any exchange but you can use their swap function in the exchange easily and takes seconds. I think the minimum swap is $5. That's only one example for you. I do this everyday as I convert all my mining rewards to BTC daily for the moment with all the currencies I mine.

    • @miningwithunclechuck
      @miningwithunclechuck  2 месяца назад

      Although not advised to keep your crypto on any exchange for long periods of time yes, you can mine to an exchange directly. Just use your deposit address for your exchange account for Kaspa. Put that address in your minor or set your payout wallet address for the mining pool your using to that deposit address of your exchange. Again I recommend not to keep any balance there for any long periods of time.

      @@FunnyVideo-os2nh Yes.... you are going to probably want to get yourself a digital switch something like a TP-Link TL-SG108 | 8 Port or similar as they are cheap and plud it into your router. Plug your miners into the switch and scan your home network like in the video and your miners IPs with all show up there. Take the miner IPs and log into each one individually and setup them up like in the video and you should be good to go. One more thing make sure to add as an example .ks0pro1 .ks0pro2 and so on after your wallet address or user name "depending the use you use" in the dashboard of your miner so when you log into your mining pool dashboard, you will be able to differentiate all your miners connected to the pool.

      @@miningwithunclechuck I am connecting it to an Ethernet, and my internet is good. I tried with different Ethernet cables, and it remains the same. I even tried connecting it to a range extender to see if that would work, but still nothing.

      Do you happen to have an old router kicken around? If you do swap it out and see if you have the same issue. I had another person on here that had an issue like yours and his router was the culprit. He had to login to it and change a security setting. Sorry I can't Renner what he changed.

      Make sure you have the stratum address correct for K1 pool if that's the pool you're using. Look in the description below this video I have included them there for you to cut and paste. Second make sure you have your K1 pool account ID that's at the top of your K1 pool dashboard entered correctly in your miner dashboard as well. If you've added a worker name make sure you put a period after the K1 pool ID. Example dfhdgsjt45uhvjug.asic where ASIC would be your miner name of choice.

      Take it one step at a time and stop the video as you go. I know there is a fair bit of information jammed in. if you have any questions about something ask away or DM me and I will do my best to help.
