Hi. Make sure the valves are closed for the cylinder you are cleaning. I am always using wire brush and plastic scraper,(if you are using screwdriver or similar please be careful ) then I am using vacuum to suck everything. As a finish I am spraying with brake cleaner but again valves need to be closed so brake cleaner doesn't leak inside I let it seat for 5-10min and I am using vacuum again and sometimes I am blowing it with air to make sure nothing is left inside, but put a rag or something when you decide to blow it with air because you and everything around will be dirty with brake fluid. Sometimes you need to repeat this process multiple times. Just be careful when you scrape the carbon because you don't want to damage the valves or casting. Hope this help!
@@boostedchrys Hi I have a 2012 Nissan Murano and it's always cutting of it starts shaking if I sit at a light to long and if I turn it off it won't start back up for an hour. What could this be. I took it to a mechanic and he took 400 from me and gave my car back the same as it went in
@@JYoungblood1 What code does the check engine has? It is hard to point you to any direction, because the best way would be to connect scanner and watch fuel pressure/o2 sensor fuel trims etc, so that way it would give us an idea. Check what code does the check engine light has.
From a Mazdaspeed 3 owner myself, this is an incredibly informative video. Very well done.
Thank you! I am glad I can help!!
Great video, very informative. It’s crazy that someone would sell their car because of lack of maintenance!
I have a gen 2 speed3 in this same color and I love it!
Great video. I am having the same problem with my 2009 Mazdaspeed 3. Hopefully this will help. Thank you
Glad I am able to help!!!
