With the wet summers becoming the norm since covid maybe trying anything other then the trusted road 5/power 2 was not the smartest move but i appreciate you recorded this as a warning how my bike may handle those town that seem to sit in puddles.
Really not ideal tyres for the wet! I'm thinking about changing my SPs out for some PP3s for my first track day coming up..... In case it's a wet day! Love the Supercorsa's in the dry though
These tires are included with my 2014 Speed Triple R and I'm a bit worried about riding them in the wet and winter. I'll be commuting to work daily and it does tend to rain this time of the year and it's cold. Would you consider it safe commuting on these in the winter?
They're not commuter tires, so either change them or ride cautiously in wet or cold weather. If you ride cautiously, the tire will start sliding gradually and you don't need to be afraid of a sudden, unexpected crash. Grip is not an on-off kind of thing, a simple slide doesn't mean you crash, if you don't panic.
Well fair play at least you never came off ... I guess that's down to you being smooth plus neg. lean angles .. 👍 I'm going to Ireland on mine in a couple of weeks just spent today scrubbing them in.
Hello i leave in israel Mostly we have dry weather This friday i needed to change tyres I decided to buy supercorsa before i ride on rosso corsa 2 and metzeler m9rr good tyres but i wanted the best. The supercorsa i ride on saturday was very good. But i wanted to commute to work other day and surprise rain for few days. Can i commute to work on normal speed, easy or its dangerous. I was ride in rain on previous tyres and i also track rider but not in rain. What do you think it will be safe at normal average road user speed?

I ride Supercorsa SPs in Estonia and they're crap when cold but they heat up fast so just be careful the first few kilometers.

Same. They are stock on my v4s and I commute 12 months a year

Nice video - liked the comments. Did you use warmers? I guess cold and wet would have neutralised any benefit though.

Ball's ball's...... 👍
there pretty bad at high lean angles there pretty much slicks and even in modereate lean level they barely have any water groves.
