My favorite pet to feed is Little Fish, my betta! She is short-finned and quite active, and really fun to be able to engage with her at feeding time. She'll do a little "dance" as I approach, and as soon as that lid comes off, she'll snap into 100% focus on the water surface. Often I'll offer a pellet a little above the water, and "ask" her to jump for it. She'll hover just underneath, little eyes trained on the piece, seemingly triangulating before she makes her jump. She usually gets it, but even if she doesn't I'll drop her the food anyway- wanting to keep a high rate of reinforcement for this fun behavior. :) After feeding, Little Fish always does a thorough scouring of the area for any missed morsels. I don't know if you've ever kept bettas, but they have this way of interacting with their environment where you can "see" them thinking-- particularly when they get curious about something, get right up close to it, and even curve their body toward it before acting or moving on. I don't always have time to hang around and watch her search, but feeding this tiny creature is always an enjoyable part of my day.
I’m totally loving Tiki and Torch. It’s fascinating how you have them trained to step on your hand, retrieve their treat and retreats back to enjoy their prize. I think I still love watching the tokay sweeties best!
I wish all the top reptile youtubers would come to a reptile expo in NORTH CAROLINA!! I would love to meet the awesome people like you, who have taught me so much about proper care for my reptiles! Thank you for your awesome work and dedication to the community!
The Red-eyed crocodile skinks & giant geckos are my favorites ♡♡☆😻🥰💋🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🦎🦎,but all your reptiles are very fortunate to receive as much pampering & doting care as they do from their dad🤭
Love the transparency about the new upload schedule and that you're giving yourself space to ease into the new routine! You're demonstrating some healthy boundaries around work/life balance for your viewers :)
Hey some seriously skillful camera work there mate, filming and feeding at the same time and not a frame out of focus ❤. Love the enthusiasm the animals have at feeding time and the enrichment for the monitors getting them to move around a bit for their food. I only keep Isopods, and feeding time is so much fun.
You are by far the best keeper ever! Your animals are so beautiful and healthy... and it really shows how much time you spend with them because of how tame they are. I love all their silly personalities!!! ❤❤❤
I have cats and snakes and feeding my pine snake is so fun. Never skips a meal and super food-motivated, and her aim is perfect. She's even eating in full blue
Great video, as always :) My favourite animal to feed (weirdly) are the land snails, I collected them from near my house, they are regular snails, but three of them are at least 12cm long (the snail, not the shell), they eat so much (mostly letuce and previosly boiled hardwood leaf litter). i keep them in a 16L plastic conteiner in a sort of vivarium with armadillidium vulgare that I also collected near my home (I live in the mediterranian cost of Spain) a lot of earthworms and sprintails. Its so rewarding to see their population explode, seeing the packs of eggs from the snails and tiny isopods crawling all over the vivarium makes my day everyday. Hoping to see soon some isopod and arachnid videos soon, keep up the good work :)
Hey Reptiliatus I love your content. I just feel like you are putting so much love in your projects and videos. I have a question for you: what lighting do you use for your crested geckos? Do you give them uv-b light? Much love from Switzerland!
Thank you so much for deciding to be a RUclips you have inspired me and countless others in what you do I like hand feeding my baby crested gecko he’s so cute
Another awesome video! Love feeding videos. QOTD: perhaps my most favorite animal to feed was my Veiled Chameleon. He could launch an attack on any bug so quick. Currently my favorite would be a tie between my Green Belly Keeled lizard and my Dune Geckos 😊
About 30 years ago I had a tokay while I was working at a pet shop. I swear this tokay grew up into the largest I've seen... it was freakishly large and had huge jaw muscles. Loved that tokay so much!
Thank you for including my feathered pets haha my male budgie oliver he flies over so that you can feed him and never bits you by mistake, can't say the same about my lutina female haha quite a...comfortable one when it comes to hand feeding haha
Awesome video! QOTD: I love feeding my Uroplatus fimbriatus, their huge size along with their ability to go from a focused stalk to chomping away on a giant roach is something that never gets old. Funny enough, one of my fimbriatus refuse to tong feed unless they're Madagascar hissers... I wonder if it's a natural diet thing! Regardless, it's always fun!
Last night I was feeding all my geckos. I have two leopards, three cresties and a mourning. My mourning gecko was rattling his tail and charged after the fruit flies. It was adorable. Tiny yet mighty.
Wingless flies = walkers. Snorts ... Ha 🤣 Oh, and for QOTD, I currently don't own any pets but my last pets I did own when I lived in Iran was cockatiels. Feeding them their favourite foods was always entertaining and also watching them forage for morsels of food or in "search" of food on the floor as if they're back in the wild searching/foraging was so interesting to see. Then they'd fly and perch to their favourite spot and one in particular always came back to me. Sure miss them a whole lot. 😞
Love your channel & your set ups are awesome ! You have smaller critters…but they all are so vividly, colorful ! They’re quite amazing to watch ! I had to Lol 🤣🤣 at Leela ? You took her food away & she was like, Hey come back here with my food….my belly’s still hungry ! & then she had to settle for a hornworm haha she didn’t seem to thrilled about it. That was hilarious 🤣🤣
Great video! For the QotD, my first favorite would be some of my tarantulas who are extremely enthusiastic eaters (i.e. my Theraphosa species or my P. cancerides sling) who hit their food like a truck. And my second favorite is my leopard gecko named Yamaha for the way his little eyes light up.
Basil is so big! Has he hit is full size? This was a fun video - got to see some species we haven’t seen in a while on your channel! What does lunchboxes cocoon look like?
Hello Dayyan ! How do you manage to have your geckos eager to eat ? My crested and gargoyle geckos never come to me during the feeding session and it's a pain in the neck to feed them repashy or pangea, they barely touch it 😅 Do you have any advice about how to tame them or make them eat repashy ? Btw love the Otis t-shirt !
Nice feeding. The anoles have progressed a lot in their taming. I am sure that tree monitors do eat both birds and mammals in the wild, as plenty of arboreal mammals exist in Australasia. The kingsnake can eat more than that. After all, they can eat snakes up to their own size. Then she will grow faster. You can also offer her multiples.
Happy Friday! As of right now I have a crested gecko named Jaina and feeding her has been a high light of my day. Although she can’t have bugs to often I love watching her eat it. I’m considering getting a leopard gecko or another reptile. Have a great weekend
Of all my animals, I enjoy feeding my snakes most of all, I love watching them stalk up to the rodents and strike. My Pacman frog is probably second. The way he strikes out to grab food never gets old. Although I do enjoy watching my tree frogs hunt down their feeders, and leopard geckos are super entertaining to watch hunting too.
QOTD: my favourite pet to feed is my tokay. It’s an amazing journey to get her to become tame like now. I felt so satisfied by just feeding her. From just tossing feeders inside its enclosure to get her to eat on my hands just like what you always do with tiki. I feel like a proud father😆
Good stuff as always man! I’d enjoy a “feeding the feeders” video. I think it’s a very important thing that people are misinformed about. I’d love to hear what you have to say!!!
I have dogs, cats, and Tarantulas. The Tarantulas are definitely my favorites to feed. I don't handle mine, so feeding is my primary interaction with them.
It's awesome seeing some snake action. I really wanna get a Bredl's python one day as my first snake. Maybe in a year or two I can. There's some great breeders of Australian pythons out there. I wanna get a reasonably sized, not so large, male. Any snakes you have in mind to add to your fam?
My whites tree frogs are always my favorite to feed 😂 they’re so derpy and it’s never the same routine, sometimes they eat my fingers, sometimes they fight with one another, other times they jump into the dubia container (I wish I was kidding too) 😭
I have 2 Australian shepherds and 3 kenyan sand boas. My favorite pet to feed would either be my younger aussie Lief or my oldest kenyan Priscilla. Theyre both such eager eaters that its adorable to watch
I LOVE feeding my beta fish because I have a little plastic chop stick I use to guide it to the food and it follows the stick every time to get its food but I also like feeding my African sulcada tortoise and I’m also getting a whites tree frog
Believe it or not, my Kenyan sand boa is my favorite to feed. He is the smallest snek I have, with arguably the least threatening appearance BUT nothing quite tops dangling his food over the substrate where I *think* his little snoot is only to have him burst out from a slightly different spot; like a freaking sand worm in full murder-mode. I jump every time LOL!
QOTD: feeding is fun with all our pets but I have to agree our tree monitor, Chomper is definitely the most fun. I provide a variety of different feeding opportunities: chasing down crickets, tong feeding, foraging for silkworms and using his hands to access items from test tubes 🦎💚
Yay for Feeding Friday videos!! I only have cats; I have one that will sit by their food bowl patiently until I say "OK" before they eat when I feed her. So I'd say of the 3, she's my favorite!! I'd love to get a gecko of some sort but my physical limitations would make setting one up properly difficult. I adore watching your sand geckos hunt and eat! Have a great weekend!!
my favorite pet to feed is my B.C. Longicauda (Zero) - he is so inteligent but at the same time very gentle, currently he prefers to eat while tuged around my arm and aproach the rat very slowly and not striking it but opening the jaw and biting it slowly. newer saw something like this in another Boa
I'd probably have to say Ball Pythons are my favourite to feed. Just the reaction to it. Maybe poisonous dart frogs but I've yet to own some. You could also name the other Surinam Horned Frog Walnut if you're open to name suggestions haha.
Out of all the replies I’ve learned about I like the lizards the most. I bought me my first crested gecko ❤ she’s so much fun. I would love to have a red eyed dragon lizard and more crested geckos.
Hii!! :)) On Tuesday I adopted a Crested Gecko, he’s 7 years old. In his previous home he has had mealworms since he was a small baby..some people with Crested Gecko’s say that they would rather not eat mealworms but rather crickets..but he is afraid of crickets and he is also very picky and he will just eat mealworms. Do you think Crested Gecko’s can eat mealworms?? - He is also eating he’s Pangea diet!!
lol my favorite animal to feed is me and my bf crested gecko cause she be dragging her bowl around and she doesn’t even finish her food half the time but it’s adorable
My crested gecko does the same thing as your female blue beauty where she grabs the bug and just holds it without chewing for a long time. I think they're trying to suffocate or crush it till it dies before swallowing? Idk 😂
Answer to the question: my bci. I have a childhood connection to the species so she's my favorite special pet and feeding is most exciting because the response is so powerful and fast.
I am really interested in getting myself a red eyed croc skink. I’ve done so much research the last week or so. I just don’t know where to get one, you know of any reputable places to get one or order ? I’m located east Massachusetts.

Do you sale red eye crocodile skins
You should name the frog here 17:42 leafy
That yawn was precious
The absolute best/cutest!

Your enclosures are so beautiful.
You have some really beautiful reptiles.
Loved this video
Glad you like them! Thank you!
Appreciate you putting in the time stamps for each of the critters! :3
No problem! My pleasure!
Also those blue dart frogs look like living porcelain. So pretty.

Another great feeding video! I love feeding my White's tree frogs because they are just so silly.

Yes! Please do a video on gut loading feeder insects!
At 23:50 when you went “ouii” I made the exact same sound at the same time, that was funny af 😂
hahaha amazing! Thanks for watching!

Amazing! 🐸
Big yes to feeding Fridays 🫶
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
Can you make a video on how to not be creeped out by roaches?? Hahaha. So glad my invertebrates will eat other feeders 🫣🫣
I love feeding my Kingsnake, Noodle! It's so fun to give him his pinky mice with feeder tongs and watch him latch on and wrap around it.
For what it’s worth, I appreciated the joke about flies with no wings
Haha, thank you! 🙏🏼😅
It's awesome seeing some snake action. I really wanna get a Bredl's python one day as my first snake. Maybe in a year or two I can. There's some great breeders of Australian pythons out there. I wanna get a reasonably sized, not so large, male. Any snakes you have in mind to add to your fam?
My whites tree frogs are *hilarious* to feed 😂 but my BCI is my favorite for her enthusiasm and reliability
Looking good Dayyan 😊😍

A fringe frog care guide would be awesome!

Tikki just smashed that caterpillar on the log!!! 😂😂😂
Every time 😂🫣
I feel like Dayyan needs an endoscopy camera for some of the cork hides 😂
I am having lots of fun feeding my baby turtle. When he is hungry he comes to the corner of the enclosure and swims around fast.
Tarantulas definitely my favorite to feed
Always lots of fun!
Hi
I've got a question. What do you gut load dubia roaches with? Mine won't eat anything I try.
As always, great video🙂
Yes feeding Friday's!!
🙏🏼
my favorite pet to feed is my B.C. Longicauda (Zero) - he is so inteligent but at the same time very gentle, currently he prefers to eat while tuged around my arm and aproach the rat very slowly and not striking it but opening the jaw and biting it slowly. newer saw something like this in another Boa
do you keep your horned worms live or do you go you out and buy them every time you feed them?
I love ❤feeding my rhino iguana Atlas! He gets so excited and jumps on my shoulder, afterwards he snuggles 🥰 his face into my shoulder and gets pets.

I LOOOVEEEE snakes, there so precious but my fav to feed is my old bearded dragon (he’s dead tho)

Awesome! Creators are great! Thank you for sharing!
Love the calcium walks.
QOTD: My favorite to feed is totally my wee tortoise. There's nothing quite as cute as seeing his teeny tongue when he goes in for a big chomp.
Who counted them all? They're all beautiful 😍.
Thanks!
Love your videos ❤
Appreciate you! Thanks for watching!
