Thank you so much for deciding to be a RUclips you have inspired me and countless others in what you do I like hand feeding my baby crested gecko he’s so cute
Yay for Feeding Friday videos!! I only have cats; I have one that will sit by their food bowl patiently until I say "OK" before they eat when I feed her. So I'd say of the 3, she's my favorite!! I'd love to get a gecko of some sort but my physical limitations would make setting one up properly difficult. I adore watching your sand geckos hunt and eat! Have a great weekend!!
My favorite pet to feed is Little Fish, my betta! She is short-finned and quite active, and really fun to be able to engage with her at feeding time. She'll do a little "dance" as I approach, and as soon as that lid comes off, she'll snap into 100% focus on the water surface. Often I'll offer a pellet a little above the water, and "ask" her to jump for it. She'll hover just underneath, little eyes trained on the piece, seemingly triangulating before she makes her jump. She usually gets it, but even if she doesn't I'll drop her the food anyway- wanting to keep a high rate of reinforcement for this fun behavior. :) After feeding, Little Fish always does a thorough scouring of the area for any missed morsels. I don't know if you've ever kept bettas, but they have this way of interacting with their environment where you can "see" them thinking-- particularly when they get curious about something, get right up close to it, and even curve their body toward it before acting or moving on. I don't always have time to hang around and watch her search, but feeding this tiny creature is always an enjoyable part of my day.
I’m totally loving Tiki and Torch. It’s fascinating how you have them trained to step on your hand, retrieve their treat and retreats back to enjoy their prize. I think I still love watching the tokay sweeties best!
I wish all the top reptile youtubers would come to a reptile expo in NORTH CAROLINA!! I would love to meet the awesome people like you, who have taught me so much about proper care for my reptiles! Thank you for your awesome work and dedication to the community!
Awesome video! QOTD: I love feeding my Uroplatus fimbriatus, their huge size along with their ability to go from a focused stalk to chomping away on a giant roach is something that never gets old. Funny enough, one of my fimbriatus refuse to tong feed unless they're Madagascar hissers... I wonder if it's a natural diet thing! Regardless, it's always fun!
Hello Dayyan ! How do you manage to have your geckos eager to eat ? My crested and gargoyle geckos never come to me during the feeding session and it's a pain in the neck to feed them repashy or pangea, they barely touch it 😅 Do you have any advice about how to tame them or make them eat repashy ? Btw love the Otis t-shirt !
Hey Reptiliatus I love your content. I just feel like you are putting so much love in your projects and videos. I have a question for you: what lighting do you use for your crested geckos? Do you give them uv-b light? Much love from Switzerland!
Out of all the replies I’ve learned about I like the lizards the most. I bought me my first crested gecko ❤ she’s so much fun. I would love to have a red eyed dragon lizard and more crested geckos.
Love the transparency about the new upload schedule and that you're giving yourself space to ease into the new routine! You're demonstrating some healthy boundaries around work/life balance for your viewers :)
Thank you for including my feathered pets haha my male budgie oliver he flies over so that you can feed him and never bits you by mistake, can't say the same about my lutina female haha quite a...comfortable one when it comes to hand feeding haha
Nice feeding. The anoles have progressed a lot in their taming. I am sure that tree monitors do eat both birds and mammals in the wild, as plenty of arboreal mammals exist in Australasia. The kingsnake can eat more than that. After all, they can eat snakes up to their own size. Then she will grow faster. You can also offer her multiples.
Another awesome video! Love feeding videos. QOTD: perhaps my most favorite animal to feed was my Veiled Chameleon. He could launch an attack on any bug so quick. Currently my favorite would be a tie between my Green Belly Keeled lizard and my Dune Geckos 😊
Believe it or not, my Kenyan sand boa is my favorite to feed. He is the smallest snek I have, with arguably the least threatening appearance BUT nothing quite tops dangling his food over the substrate where I *think* his little snoot is only to have him burst out from a slightly different spot; like a freaking sand worm in full murder-mode. I jump every time LOL!
Of all my animals, I enjoy feeding my snakes most of all, I love watching them stalk up to the rodents and strike. My Pacman frog is probably second. The way he strikes out to grab food never gets old. Although I do enjoy watching my tree frogs hunt down their feeders, and leopard geckos are super entertaining to watch hunting too.
I LOVE feeding my beta fish because I have a little plastic chop stick I use to guide it to the food and it follows the stick every time to get its food but I also like feeding my African sulcada tortoise and I’m also getting a whites tree frog
Wingless flies = walkers. Snorts ... Ha 🤣 Oh, and for QOTD, I currently don't own any pets but my last pets I did own when I lived in Iran was cockatiels. Feeding them their favourite foods was always entertaining and also watching them forage for morsels of food or in "search" of food on the floor as if they're back in the wild searching/foraging was so interesting to see. Then they'd fly and perch to their favourite spot and one in particular always came back to me. Sure miss them a whole lot. 😞
I'd probably have to say Ball Pythons are my favourite to feed. Just the reaction to it. Maybe poisonous dart frogs but I've yet to own some. You could also name the other Surinam Horned Frog Walnut if you're open to name suggestions haha.
Hii!! :)) On Tuesday I adopted a Crested Gecko, he’s 7 years old. In his previous home he has had mealworms since he was a small baby..some people with Crested Gecko’s say that they would rather not eat mealworms but rather crickets..but he is afraid of crickets and he is also very picky and he will just eat mealworms. Do you think Crested Gecko’s can eat mealworms?? - He is also eating he’s Pangea diet!!
Good stuff as always man! I’d enjoy a “feeding the feeders” video. I think it’s a very important thing that people are misinformed about. I’d love to hear what you have to say!!!
QOTD: feeding is fun with all our pets but I have to agree our tree monitor, Chomper is definitely the most fun. I provide a variety of different feeding opportunities: chasing down crickets, tong feeding, foraging for silkworms and using his hands to access items from test tubes 🦎💚
I have 2 Australian shepherds and 3 kenyan sand boas. My favorite pet to feed would either be my younger aussie Lief or my oldest kenyan Priscilla. Theyre both such eager eaters that its adorable to watch
Twice a week?! Youre content is too labor intensive for you to be putting yourself through that much strain. You might burn out. I'll gladly watch, but I'd rather you not work your fingers to the bone.
I have cats and snakes and feeding my pine snake is so fun. Never skips a meal and super food-motivated, and her aim is perfect. She's even eating in full blue
Answer to the question: my bci. I have a childhood connection to the species so she's my favorite special pet and feeding is most exciting because the response is so powerful and fast.
my favorite pet to feed is my B.C. Longicauda (Zero) - he is so inteligent but at the same time very gentle, currently he prefers to eat while tuged around my arm and aproach the rat very slowly and not striking it but opening the jaw and biting it slowly. newer saw something like this in another Boa
It's awesome seeing some snake action. I really wanna get a Bredl's python one day as my first snake. Maybe in a year or two I can. There's some great breeders of Australian pythons out there. I wanna get a reasonably sized, not so large, male. Any snakes you have in mind to add to your fam?
My crested gecko does the same thing as your female blue beauty where she grabs the bug and just holds it without chewing for a long time. I think they're trying to suffocate or crush it till it dies before swallowing? Idk 😂
I am really interested in getting myself a red eyed croc skink. I’ve done so much research the last week or so. I just don’t know where to get one, you know of any reputable places to get one or order ? I’m located east Massachusetts.
You are by far the best keeper ever! Your animals are so beautiful and healthy... and it really shows how much time you spend with them because of how tame they are. I love all their silly personalities!!! ❤❤❤
Hey is it possible to message you to talk to you about doing a small podcast for my channel for my video of the week I know it's a long shot but Brian said when I started my channel and got serious to try anything even if it seems unlikely
My whites tree frogs are always my favorite to feed 😂 they’re so derpy and it’s never the same routine, sometimes they eat my fingers, sometimes they fight with one another, other times they jump into the dubia container (I wish I was kidding too) 😭
lol my favorite animal to feed is me and my bf crested gecko cause she be dragging her bowl around and she doesn’t even finish her food half the time but it’s adorable
Hey some seriously skillful camera work there mate, filming and feeding at the same time and not a frame out of focus ❤. Love the enthusiasm the animals have at feeding time and the enrichment for the monitors getting them to move around a bit for their food. I only keep Isopods, and feeding time is so much fun.

My whites tree frogs are *hilarious* to feed 😂 but my BCI is my favorite for her enthusiasm and reliability

Hi
I've got a question. What do you gut load dubia roaches with? Mine won't eat anything I try.
As always, great video🙂
I have cats and snakes and feeding my pine snake is so fun. Never skips a meal and super food-motivated, and her aim is perfect. She's even eating in full blue

My favorite pet to feed is probably my orange baboon tarantula aka Donald trump cause I love his defensive attitude❤.
my favorite pet to feed is my B.C. I’m located east Massachusetts.
Qotd: i like feeding my cats churus! It’s kind of a nice bonding experience.
QOTD: My favorite to feed is totally my wee tortoise. There's nothing quite as cute as seeing his teeny tongue when he goes in for a big chomp.
You are by far the best keeper ever! Your animals are so beautiful and healthy... and it really shows how much time you spend with them because of how tame they are. I love all their silly personalities!!! ❤❤❤
Hey. I have a dessert bioactive and am wondering what kind of succulents those are 14:40
