Alterra finally throws me a lifeline, but it's no good if I can't safely fly in the air. There's a larger mystery here I have to solve, but to get to the bottom of it I need to go deeper. That means putting myself in harms way to retrieve the tech I need and then build the ships and vehicles necessary to truly plumb the depths of this watery planet! It's officially time to prep for the endgame!

Amusingly, the Alterra reps who send you the message unlocking the Captain's Cabin are actually a couple of RUclipsrs who were extensively involved in playtesting the early access builds of Subnautica. The devs just wanted to canonize them for being such committed fans.

Yes, the Reaper almost gave me a heart attack. There are only three sounds in video games that induce a consistent fear response in me: the sound of an Exploder gibbering in Dead Space, a Banshee's scream in Mass Effect 3, and the Reaper Leviathan's furious bellowing.

Gotta love Neebs and Appsro from Neebs Gaming. Their playthrough also involved a lot of rp as customer service reps since there was 5 members and they all wanted to be involved but it was a single player game.

You are really brave going into crash zone without electic module on Seamoth. I wouldn't dare go anywhere near it without that upgrade or static gun.
Also, detection range from reaper is much wider for Seamoth compared to bare body. It is surprisngly safer to go into danger zones not riding Seamoth. Better to park it right in front of danger area and go in with a static gun.

funny enough i DO know a someone that not only dosent like the cyclops and the prawn THEY HATE THEM and quite literally just took the burning sensation of swimming through the end game on nothing but a sea glide and 2 extra capacity O2 tanks and not even a reinforced dive suit
