With all the necessary equipment built and supplies loaded up I begin my long trek into the depths of the world. A lot of the building mysteries will finally be answered as I discover the dark secrets long lost to the most dangerous areas of this aquatic world. It won't be easy though, as there's still resources to find and things to build, all while I have to dodge new and yet unencountered hazards.

It might be wise to drop beacons at every biome change and set up a base at the lowest point you can pilot a Seamoth (to quickly ferry resources back and forth).
The ideal place for this seems to be the purpose-made islet at the back of the blue tree.
Will give the Seamoth some utility because it's otherwise useless when Fast Travel gets unlocked at the end of the game. Or, well, at the end of your episode :D

Watch these videos at the start of work week each Monday and it is the best! Will be so sad when this series is over, loving it so much!

    FYI..
You get a minute or two to take out the Cyclops depth module, craft the next depth upgrade and stick the newly crafted upgrade in the slot without triggering an implosion. ;)

Port has 4 letters so does left. that is the easiest way I have found to remember.

Literally paused the video to write this exact comment. Glad someone else passed along the information too.

Port has four letters the same as Left.
Port is also Red and this is the colour of the navigation light on that side of the vessel.
This is taken from the orientation of looking from the Stern "Back" towards the Bow "Front" of the ship or from the piloting position.
Always pass other oncoming ships Red light to Red light.
(This tip is Just in case you are on a hired boating holiday).
If you are passing Red light to Green light then you're overtaking AKA "Winning" the other boat OR one of your chandlery (Boat Accessory) fitters made a Boo Boo..
Easiest way I found to remember it. :)
    PS.
I don't think the lighting code is necessary on an alien world or fitted on Altera ships I just decided to show off.
In hindsight, hmm, America and I'm basing this on the British admiralty rules.
With this in mind, I cannot be held responsible for you not reading the waterway rule book post boat hiring within your country..
You could float on the wrong side of the water way and have all lights coloured sky blue pink for all I know..
    LOL. All the best,
    CHEERS &TTFN.

As an American Captain (Tug boats) it is the same. I am almost certain it is because of international trade that the rules are the same on all waters so anyone from anywhere can't plead ignorance of an incident occurs.

Yes, Of course Ron it's the same everywhere :)
I was simply charming a little bit of British sarcastic humour in at the end there.
I just can't tend to help being a bit of a
"Son of A Gun" whilst "Showing the Ropes" to "Young Master Strife".
(Thank goodness his name isn't Bates) Otherwise this reply would be "Held for review".. LOL
Anyway, I've made a made a note in the Ships Log, "Do not change shipping lanes when exiting the English Channel"..
Now off to the pet shop to exchange this parrot as it's constantly falling off my shoulder and quiet obviously Dead.
Tut.. There I go again. LOL.
      On a non sarcastic note..
      Cool Job, Respect.
I've only been the deck hand on a mates yacht, fell in twice and stranded once whilst trying to rescue the crew and vessel and having the Navy monitoring my well being..
WOW, I've never written that down and read it back.
Although being 100% true, it's not as incredible as it reads.
      LOL.
Oh and when I was a young 'un 7 ish, Dad built a 27 foot Cabin cruiser.
Forgot to attach the rudder and took us on a literal 20 foot circular cruise from the launching pontoon and back.
Ahh Memories.. Oh & Cine film :)
      Cheers TTFN

Seconded on the Ghost Leviathans. It's hard to deny they're really cool-looking, but in terms of overall damage and aggression they're nowhere near as intimidating as the Reapers. I actually managed to kill a Ghost Leviathan at one point just to make my points of ingress into the underground areas safe. Sent the knife I used off in a time capsule exhorting the person who received it to do great things with it.

when i think of port and starboard i think of halo wars, the captain says starboard to dodge a covenant ship and so the spirit of fire banks right
