Nice video if u want it to work on 3utools first u need to flash with fix battery health and then when it fails u will restart z phone and flash it without fix battery health(quick flash) it will work every time 100%
Also JCID just added new update on their repair assistant to be able to repair battery health. Could also update to iOS 17.7 with battery health fix then update to iOS 18 after without battery health fix
This is great and all but how I do I convince the customer to backup their data to do factory reset and restore just for a battery change... If apple charges $89 for iPhone 12 battery whats a fair asking price for a battery replacement with spot welding and restoring vs just replacing with aftermarket and getting battery message?
Customer i deal with dont mind paying more than apple prices for battery repair due to it being an inconvenience to go to apple store even though we are located in nyc
This is useful for refurbished devices for resale. I not only repair devices but also sell certified preowned ones. Having less messages in the settings usually results in an easier sale on my end because I don't have to explain the whole thing to the customer and then they second guess on buying a used product. I feel like iOS 18 is better suited for refurbished devices vs repairs but that's just me.
3utools giving error at 6%, saying unable to exit restore mode ? What to do ? Been tried at least 15 times, would be really helpful if you could comment.
Great video thanks...I have the same spot welder as you but I tend to get sparks when spot welding, any tips or have you changed any settings to stop this happened..thanks..
hi, Could you advice me for iphone XS? This xs battery for XS is able just to program using jcid v1s, so this programmer set battery to 100% and 0 cycle but phone (ios 17.7 or 18.0.1) shows still service and 82%. To fix it is past it was only necessary to plug other xs battery, boot XS to see non genuine and then back to original BMS battery but now XS still shows SERVICE and 82% health. How to fix it?
They unblocked battery health showing for genuine battery batteries but the Battery was changed message will still be theree. But this method made the phone completely neww again without any replaced message
@@K_M_Abir I’m more than ok with the message of “the battery is replaced”. As long as I don’t need to spend $$$ for tools and endless time to make the battery health showing up again.
So I tried it and it works without the tag on flex. It shows 100% health. Things you need to know, You need to Flash with the health box check initially and then flash it with iTunes. Battery health wont be fixed it its a normal itunes flash.
There is much ezy way to fix battry without itunes restore Jst use 3 u tools battry fix then on 34 percent when it stops plug the cable out from phone restart the phone using keys phone will come in restore mode plug the cable back it will automatically starts resoring and boom ur battry is fixed
Awesome content but the stuttering of clips and your face glittering was hard on the eyes! 😂. Other than that awesome work! Great skills and validates my need to practice more with my tac welds! *edit update, after reading several comments I’m surprised everyone doesn’t go as far as ensuring the error is not there before calling it done! I always inform the customer of potential notifications and not able to get them to go away. It’s Apple for the world as capitalism and greed are rampant!
So this is good to see, but it's not reasonable. When reconditioning phones this is fine, but we're not gonna reset every customer's phone for a battery. It's Apple, not you guys. So thanks for the info, but it's not good news.

@@DoobertMcscoobert We sell a lot of devices as well and this is very true. People see those messages and immediately think the device is worthless.
Okay but does the battery capacity actualy decrease over time or does it stay at 100% all the time?
Decrease
Fair play: you are the perfect example of perseverance paying off!
Usa el 3utool versión 3.12 y te va a funcionar bien el proceso ya que la última versión falla

@@adityajain3327 i also faced this problem. to solve just restart your laptop/pc. then restore again it will be 100% success.
@@adityajain3327: After 6% error, restart iPhone then install without repairing battery health
Easy, when you fix battery and stop in 6% reboot on recovery mode and go to itunes restore and flash again, and the 100% is on the phone
Really??
Yes his method works
I saw a better method on injured Gadgets channel
Wondering in i11 pro if it gonna work
is it now possible to do this without needing the tag-on?
Someone can help me I tried everything and nothing works

yes, compression.. it needs to be solid and try to remove any of the old lead as it will leave an air gap
@@MobileSentrix thanks, have you changed any of the default settings, not sure if you alter the output like other spot welders .

Do you try with new bms (no core / bms transfer) ?
Can . After diagnosed setting will showed used part .
Can you take out the tag on flex after the restore?
Yes tag on flex is just to reset the health
I don’t know. It seems a lot easier on my jcid
Why didn't you try iTunes flash in 3u tools?
I used the method from Injured Gadgets video
3u tools does work, after it fails just do a normal restore without battery fix
