so jealous you have the time and space to work on engines! :) Can I ask you smth as it seems that you have seen a couple of these engines - Have you got any sump oil leaks so far and if so how did you get rid of them? I just replaced the sump gasket on mine the second time and it still leaks, a small amount but still.. Thx!
I don't really but making do with the spare moments and little space I have! Yep they always blooming leak. Bit of silicone around the mating flange on each bolt head will help. Also check it isn't your rear main seal which is leaking, that's very very common. The engine which came out of this car was leaking from every possible place so a leak free refresh is the most important aspect for me. Make sure you follow the correct procedure for torquing the sump it's on 12nm but takes several cycles to achieve this evenly.
High boost! Mumma Mia going to be good. Yep had only very good dealings with them. Andy mapped the 182 in the previous video and will be doing mine too. We’ve got the boost pipe kit, log manifold and downpipe. Speak to Alex at AW Motorworks as he used to work at ED and has a strong working relation with them so fits the kits.
I had that thought but it came down to the much cheaper consumable items on the clio which really swayed me. Cheap brakes and tyres counts for a lot when you hit the track regularly :)
@@TrackItYT hadn't thought that far ahead but you've got a very good point. I also like the idea of a unassuming Clio sport showing up some more exsotic cars 😉
@@TrackItYT Ah awesome dude. He does indeed! Dm me at some point if you ever bring your turbo down to worthing as mine will be back on the road soon as its back from efi!

Hi Lewis, went a while ago, needed the money for a few bits!
Thanks for the update, I'm hoping for engine dynamics high boost set up next year. have you had any thoughts or dealing with those guys?

@@TrackItYT thanks for the info👍 , not sure whether just to go for Megan rs265 or put the time and money into a well set up boosted clio?

Great video. Looking forward to this series.
Thanks John, hopefully next episode out in a couple of weeks.
Are you from around worthing then if you saw Steve? I live there, and I've got bits off him and Gary (the clio man) a few times
Hey Ben, I’m in south east London but Steve has the treasure trove of parts I often need.
