Sabalenka's father wanted her to win 2 slams before her turning 25 years old. She's 25 now and will be 26 this May. She won her second slam now and this slam win will mean so much to her and her family. Her father suddenly passed away in 2019. 😢

I really love Aryna, because on the court she shows the power and determination of an Amazon, then when she puts down her racket and starts talking she looks like the awkward little girl when they called her to the blackboard at school

How dare people in the comments disrespect Zheng , it is one of biggest tennis tournaments in the world and she came second, meaning she beat every other player bar one, she is young and will be there for years to come congratulations and commiserations to her and I hope she has big future to come, that being said congratulations to Aryna she deserves it for being the best player of the tournament

She doesn't deserve to make it to the finals. She was simply lucky during the tournament; she did not meet a single high-rated opponent. This is not a final, but a one-goal game.

Zheng’s gonna be a top player for the next decade but a lil too early for her in terms of reaching a final if we’re being honest she only got here bc of how wide open her draw became but credit to her for taking advantage of it & getting an experience that’ll only help her moving forward. As for Sabalenka when she plays her game & is on mentally there’s only a couple players in the world who can handle her.

The AO women's finals wasn't a tough one coz Sabalenka has been on fire throughout the tournament. Zheng reaching the finals is never by luck or chance... had it been she did not play well when she met other players, she'll prolly be out before the QF.
Swiatek, Rybakina, Pegula, Ostapenko etc were there in the draw and they could have reached the finals... but they fell off on the line. Give the young lady her flowers. This was her first ever major finals in the sport and surely she'll have more in the future. Congratulations to Aryna, she was unbeatable in this tournament from the start. Wishing her the best in the rest of the season.

When she won her second, I know she had worked on her mental struggles and I hope so much she keeps defeating her mental weakness. I am the happiest Queen Aryna Sabalenka fan. I hope she wins more.
