Great Work Dale !!!
Thanks Justin we have a great team effort on this project 👍
DAMN, U GUYS DO GREAT WORK ‼️🛠️ Vinny 🇺🇸
Great! Thanks so much Dale! Keep the videos coming!
Thanks David I’m trying to put them together when I have time been pretty busy here 😃
Great job!!
Thanks Wade I think the guys knocked it out of the park on this one good clean job 💪
Awesome job 👏👏👏
Thank you! Cheers!
Beautiful project, Dale. Thank you for posting.
What size Excavator and vibratory are you using.
If the attachment that does the vibration on the piling had a grabber unit like the logging industry uses for tree cutting, I think you would have much more control on the piling. Just a thought.
Thanks for watching my channel in your comment you were absolutely correct. I would love to have something like that. It Just adds additional weight to the end of the boom and then I would need a larger tractor which I’m starting to get oversize on my barges. Thanks again.
Hey Dale great job as always. I have two questions for you. What would you estimate the weight of a 6" post @ 16 feet. I'm seeing answers all over the place and what would the average charge be to drive 8 posts of the same as listed above.
Hey Paul really all depends on the time of treatment and how much the Pilings has dried out but it could be anywhere from 125 pounds to 80 pounds. Typical charges for pilings usually go in foot increments $8.00 per foot up to $10 per foot also different charges for different types of soil conditions.
What a nice job Dale. Why don't the dock owners leave the pilings long so they or you can build railings off them ? Thanks and thumbs up. I see Chief the Foreman was there !
Hey August good to hear from you we present several different options when proposing the job and this is the option the customer chose, one issue with polls up and rails down here is during a hurricane a lot of trash will get hung up on the top as well. But we still do them they just look good. Yeah my wife said I need to start putting Chiefly in more of the videos I probably get more likes and comments and subscribers she’s right LOL my wife knows best!
@@DaleWHickman, Thanks Dale. I would think customers would want a big, fat rope strung between them or something, but I guess that's just me, lol.
Nice video! Wondering if you used hurricane roof ties?
Hey GEORGE you got a good eye right there! There’s actually a beam on the outside and the lifter beams on the inside the hurricane clips are on the inside of the Roof beam where you can’t see them because it’s hidden by the lifter beams.
Thanks for watching and commenting!!
Dale, admiring your equipment, what is the name of the attachment that drives the pilings? Did you have to custom order it, I don't see that at the equipment rentals in my area. Thanks
Thanks for watching a video. I use an MTX on the smaller hoe’s and the Catapiller vibratory plates on the larger
Dale, I’ve been doing alot of seawall work in Michigan, I’m still learning, lakefront property’s they should be with steel pipe and steel frame correct?
Hey, thanks for watching my video in your comment. I don’t do any stihl Work down here cause we strictly deal with Sand so steel it’s not really necessary. We do a lot of vinyl seawalls and Woods seawalls and riprap. Good luck with your projects.
I'm considering putting something like that at my place what is the cost of that job
Thanks for watching my channel and your question. Sorry, but I do not like to discuss pricing on the Internet for my competition to find out my price points.
can those posts in the water have plastic sleeve to protect it from elements?
Thanks for watching my channel. I appreciate it. Yes we do offer that as an option as well.
What would I use to set pilings thru limestone? What auger? Is limestone jettable?
Thanks for watching my channel Deacon, if you’re talking about, saw the limestone, we don’t run into that situation down here so I would not be the best person to ask. Although we do have to sit pilings to limestone rocks, which is not fun, we just have to keep vibrating and using a jet pipe trying to get the rocks moved all the way sometimes I even use a diver to help move the rocks rocks
Dale, what size and brand is the vibratory plate for this video please.
Hey Joe thanks a lot for watching my channel I’ve had a lot of local competition copying what we’re doing so I don’t want to give out too much personal information I’m sure you could understand thank you 😊
