This Mike guy is something else. Not too long ago he was talking about the 600lt depreciation and how Mclaren treats their customers like trash. Now he's entertaining the idea of another Mclaren. He might as well go be a tesla fanboy. He'd fit right in.
I think a lot has changed financially, and he's in a better position now to be able to buy one, and since its going to be almost base model, he won't have to worry about losing so much money.

Mike's collection isn't much compared to one of my neighbors. He has just a, oh, whole fricking exotic dealership. Now, full respect towards Mike, his collection is awesome. I love vettes and McLarens and everything. But like my neighborhood has an amazing car scene. A few people with jdm cars, that guy with the exotic dealership, a dude with an 1150 hp R8 Exclusive (1/25 in the world), and a lady and her husband with Ferraris and an 06 Ford GT. Like I never knew my area had this much awesome stuff.

Only other person I know who says it that way is the pastor of the church I was part of in Utah. He moved from Jamaica to the States with his mother and siblings while he was young after his father passed, earned a very good education and is also a retired USAF CMSGT. I think because of him I tend to associate it with intelligence.

Coming home function is where the cars memorizes where you live and puts the nose lift up when you are pulling up.
When I first heard him say it I thought maybe it recognizes your close to home and automatically opens your garage door, but this is cool too

The coming home function is basically like the automated garage/gate openers you can buy.
In this case its integrated into the gallardo.
You can use three independant devices with this system i.e. garage, gates, garage at your other house

There are certainly times to learn from mistakes; it's just I have noticed that often drivers new to the manual trans get frustrated & give up after failing to do a hill-start without rolling or using the handbrake as a crutch (which I still do, to preserve clutch material & have smooth take-off)

@@zeeem4810 I've driven, though not owned, one. My comment is based on Mike's (and every other RUclips autovlogger's) experiences with McLaren in the past. They notoriously have LOTS of problems. Vehicle Virgin had to have his windshield changed 3-4 times in the first few months he had his then he just dumped the car out of frustration. The last two McLarens Mike had were problematic and the last one blew the engine after less than 5,000 miles. They look great... but they're trash.
@@kingbrutusxxvi the reason mikes mclarens were bad is because he got the first gens of each car and then tuned them as much as possible pretty much. But yes mclarens do have windshield problems and I’m not sure if they have fixed it. Mikes in a much better financial situation to where extra cost for McLaren won’t hurt him as he stated in another comment.
