    EF 50mm f/1.8 lens on M6 mark II with viltrox speed booster is one of my favorite combos. Makes it a 35mm f/1.2.

      @apertureatlas  Год назад

      Yes! The Viltrox speed booster is brilliant! On top of turning a 50mm f/1.8 in a 35mm f/1.2, the M6 mark II is a great camera. Excellent combination!

    I have a question. Please help. I recently bought this lens and it works great. But, I realised that that the lens has 3 lines in the front if you look closely. I see that in the lens you have used for this video as well. Is that normal?

      @apertureatlas  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, I believe so. It is part of the way they built it, and every 50mm f/1.8 STM should be the same. So, long story short: since it works fine, don't worry about it.

      Hi! I mentioned this info in the video's description:
      "- For the Sharpness test on a Full Frame Camera, I used a Canon 5D Mark III, set at 22.3 Megapixels, with all in-camera lens corrections were turned off
      - For the Sharpness test on a APS-C sensor camera, I used a Canon M50, set at 24 Megapixels - all in-camera lens corrections were turned off"

      @@apertureatlasoh, since I am still a novice at this, I am kinda confused. Do megapixels depend on the lens or the camera itself? I am using this lens canon 50mm 1:1.8 STM on a Canon 1000D that has 10 megapixels so does that mean in every picture that I take it has 10 megapixels at start?

    • @apertureatlas
      @apertureatlas  9 месяцев назад

      No worries! The number of megapixels depends on the camera. The lens is just the glass in front of the camera. Have fun with photography! It's awesome that you've taken up this hobby!

      @apertureatlas  9 месяцев назад

      To answer your question, yes, every picture you'll take with your camera will have a resolution of 10 Megapixels if the camera is set at 10 Megapixels from its menu.
