I met The Money Man in 2000 at a club in NY. he was so AWESOME! Funny as hell, and fun to be around. He loves his fan, and appreciates them very much. One of the coolest experiences of my life.
Such a humble guy, you'd never know he was a huge star in the 70's and 80's.
    Eddie Money RULES!

I saw him live in Boonville MO at the Isle of Capri. HE WAS AWESOME! His voice has not changed through the years and he is very grateful to his fans. The man is in his 60s now, but he gives it his all. WE LOVE YOU EDDIE!!

He may not have the same stamina anymore, but he's still got the voice, and the song will always be ridiculously good.

Actually that is an Eddie Money/Jimmy Lyon song. Ever since hearing of Eddie passing, the first 2 albums have been playing in my head on a loop.

This was our HIgh School prom theme song in 1981. Loved most of his stuff through the years.
I had the opportunity to meet him back stage at a show in Dallas in 2000. It must have been a bad night for him because he was in a rough mood. Very gruff to some of the folks he was shaking hands with.
    Still love the the music.

Back in the late 70s in upstate NY I went to see Santana with a bunch of friends. Can’t remember the exact location. Anyway, Eddie Money was the opening act. My recollection is that nobody expected that and everyone was primed for Carlos & the boys. When Eddie came out he got booed. I felt sorry for him. He just did a few songs and he was good.

Love the Money Man. Saw him do a guest appearance on The Kaminsky Method on Netflix last night. He was performing at a casino under the name Freddie Money cause he said, ''That way the IRS can't find me"! Lol

Cut the man some slack. His heyday and prime was 40 years ago!

That lead guitarist has some nice chops. He sure knows the songs. Sings too. He doesn't over play. Not as smooth as Jimmy Lyon but good.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But, that guitar player looks strikingly similar to Ted Nugent

Eddie wuz not a happy camper being in Dallas circa 2000, had to do with being in Bush "terrortory" & politics. Sorry ya caught him on an "off" night. Regardz to Jack Ruby.

Ted Nugent (a known sociopath) really fucked up the solo here. He can't compare to Jimmy Lyon, Eddie's original guitarist.

      He's not even Ted Nugent
